There are Gentiles today that don't know that they are Jewish.

In some families...it was a secret that was kept and if they died without telling anyone....the family never finds out.

I had a Professor last semester who was talking to me one day after class.  She told me that five years ago...her grandmother was on her death bed and finally told her and her sisters that they were Jewish.

It was kept a secret because of so many in her familiy being killed in the Progroms.

This part of the family had escaped, but decided to hide their identity.

This was not uncommon.

I think today if Orlando Blum knew....he would probably not hide it.

And if someone is a true believer......they most likely would not ever hide it.  The only ones I could see doing that is if they come from Jewish families and even Muslim families.

In some Muslim faiths....some are killed for that.  In some Jewish families....some may be kicked out of their family and other things.

I just doubt that is the case with Orlando since it does not appear that that is a concern for him.

I'm talking about "Jewish" in the Hebrew sense. I can be "Jewish" (like shlomo) without being Jewish. By the way, if I give out my family's original last name to try to explain why I think that I may have at least Jewish family history, will you all promise to not use it against me in any way? I don't want someone using my last name and stalking me, etc.
