Remember when Y'shua said that if we do not forgive each other, we will not be forgiven?
Isn't the requirement for us to be forgiven that we believe in and confess Y'shua? How can we be forgiven by forgiving each other?
Yes, well, the reason we are to forgive each other is because Y'shua shed His blood for us and has forgiven each and every one of us.
Our forgiveness of each other is an actual demonstration of our faith in the blood of Y'shua for the forgiveness of sins of others because He died for each of us and forgave us. We cannot condemn someone that Y'shua has died for and has forgiven.
There is a lot of bitterness and ill will among people. That bitterness and ill will is a demonstration that these people do not believe in Y'shua. Simply spoken, they do not believe in the power of the blood of Y'shua to forgive all sin. They still believe there is sin that is still not forgiven.
This kind of thing is very prevalent among people that believe in various forms of "black magic" or "voodoo". That is why their "god" is an evil god and supposedly does evil things to people. Their bitterness and ill will gives them away that they are not of God.
So forgiving each other, requires that we believe and accept the forgiveness of Y'shua for ourselves and for others.
We can't even understand what forgiveness is without Y'shua.
Not forgiving someone, means there is no faith in Y'shua.
Shalom is through forgiving each other!
