When Yeshua returns there is going to be some sever culture shock. There will be no “BLT” sandwiches, pork chops, escargot, frogs legs etc.. Do not be cozened regarding what Yeshua meant when it is written: (Mark 7:19 ESV) since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.). Remember that in Yeshua’s day there were no encyclopedia’s, dictionaries, Food Channel network, food magazines etc. His audience was Jewish believers. If they wanted to read or see the definition of what constituted food; they would have read what is titled Leviticus chapter 11 and Deuteronomy chapter 14. Yeshua never endorsed anything that was not kashrut; no true messiah comes and overturns the Tanakh. Moses, the Hebrews, and the Jews do not own the “Law”, scripture reefers to the Law of Moses as the Law of the Lord:

(Exodus 13:9 ESV); (2 Kings 10:31 ESV); (1 Chronicles 16:40 ESV, 22:12 ESV); (2 Chronicles 12:1 ESV, 17:9 ESV, 31:3-4 ESV, 34:14 ESV, 35:26 ESV; Ezra 7:10 ESV); Nehemiah 9:3 ESV); (Psalms 1:2 ESV, 19:7 ESV, 119:1 ESV); (Isaiah 5:24 ESV); (Jeremiah 8:8 ESV); (Amos 2:4 ESV);

(Luke 2:23 ESV) (As it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every male who first opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord")

(Luke 2:24 ESV) and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the Law of the Lord, "a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons."

(Luke 2:39 ESV) And when they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

The Feast days are also called the Feast days of the LORD, NOT the Feast days of the Jews. Why gentiles altered the times and THE LAW [(Daniel 7:25 ESV) He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.], seems to have been a prompting by the spirit of antichrist which John said was present, even ubiquitous in his time. – 1 John 4:3

One of the most sinister doctrines in Christendom today is the “DUAL COVENANT” doctrine. This doctrine basically says the Jews have one covenant, Gentiles another. Jews must obey Torah, but gentiles are under grace. How convenient, how very vapid. If Jews were blinded to Messiah, history demonstrates gentiles were blinded to Torah. Yeshua did not die to institute two covenants. As previously posted, the most often repeated commandment in all of scripture is: that there should be one covenant law for Israel and “the stranger” who dwells or sojourns with them: KJVExodus 12:19, 12:43, 12:48-49, 20:10, 22:21, 23:9, 23:12, 29:33, 30:33; KJVLeviticus 16:29, 17:8, 17:10, 17:12-13, 17:15, 18:26, 19:10, 19:33-34, 20:2, 22:10, 22:12-13, 22:18, 22:25, 23:22, 24:16, 24:22, 25:6, 25:23, 25:35, 25:45, 25:47; KJVNumbers 1:51, 3:10, 3:38, 9:14, 15:14-16, 15:26, 15:29-30, 16:40, 18:4, 18:7, 19:10, 35:15; KJVDeuteronomy 1:16, 5:14, 10:18, 10:19, 14:21, 14:29, 16:11, 16:14, 17:15, 23:7, 23:20, 24:14, 24:17, 24:19-21, 25:5, 26:11-13, 27:19, 28:43, 29:11, 29:22, 31:12, 31:16; KJVJoshua 8:33, 8:35, 20:9.), There can be no doubt that Paul was teaching gentiles not to be embarrassed or intimidated by others for their observance of the Law of the Lord: (Colossians 2:16 KJVA) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:”. Paul’s statement is an emphatic endorsement of Gentile participation in the law.

Shaul also explains that the gentiles are not “strangers”: KJVEphesians 2:19 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;”.

The Dual-Covenant theory collapses in the face of being GRAFTED INTO A PRE-EXISTING Cultivated Olive tree.

The switch, the poor analysis for gentiles and Jews supposedly being able to live by and be judged by two separates sets of rules is not only unscriptural, it is even counterintuitive.

The problem arose along the lines of the following.

About 250 B.C. Greek speaking Jews in Alexandria, Egypt, sent to Jerusalem to ask that scribes be dispatched to create a Greek version of scripture, as their knowledge of Hebrew was inadequate. In the “Letter of Aristeas, 72 were sent and within some time span they (6 groups of 12) had all produced identical copies of Torah. The process continued to about 180 B.C. when the entire Tanakh (including Deuterocanonical books). The codex was called the Alexandria codex, it was redacted and copied and these were called the Septuagint (LXX in Latin, standing for 70). In the Old Greek, the term ‘assembly’, ‘congregation’, ‘gathering’ was always part of the idiom “Ekklesia of Israel”, However GENTILE translators suppressed that and only in the Renewed Testament is ekklesia translated as church. In essence that this gentile church is supposed to be different from the ekklesia of Israel is a gentile generated hallucination! Here are the verses in the Septuagint telling of the ekklesia as it originally applied to Israel: Lev 8:3; Num 20:8; Deut 4:10; 9:10; 18:16; 23:2ff, 9; 31:12, 28, 30; Josh 9:2; Jda. 20:2; 21:5, 8; Judg 20:2; 21:5, 8; 1 Sam 17:47; 19:20; 1 Kgs 8:14, 22, 55, 65; 1 Chr 13:2, 4; 28:2, 8; 29:1, 10, 20; 2 Chr 1:3, 5; 6:3, 12f; 7:8; 10:3; 20:5, 14; 23:3; 28:14; 29:23, 28, 31f; 30:2, 4, 13, 17, 23ff; Ezra 2:64; 10:1, 8, 12, 14; Neh 5:7, 13; 7:66; 8:2, 17; 13:1; Esth 4:16; Jdt 6:16, 21; 7:29; 14:6; 1 Macc 2:56; 3:13; 4:59; 5:16; 14:19; Ps 21:23, 26; 25:5, 12; 34:18; 39:10; 67:27; 88:6; 106:32; 149:1; Prov 5:14; Eccl 1:1f, 12; 7:27; 12:8ff; Job 30:28; Sir 15:5; 21:17; 23:24; 24:2; 26:5; 31:11; 33:19; 38:33; 39:10; 42:11; 44:15; 46:7; 50:13, 20; Pss. Sol. 10:6; Mic 2:5; Joel 2:16; Lam 1:10

When Yeshua returns He will implement all mitzvot, there will be no pork chops, BLT’s, immodestly clad beliecers at beaches, the true biblical feast days and the biblical Shabbat re-established., “ba’al” worship (footbaal, basebaal, basketbaal), will likely be highly restricted, perhaps eliminated altogether. Whatever is coming, it sure is going to throw numerous people into culture shock.

Y’va-reh-cha-cha Ah-doe-nigh v’yeesh-m’reh-cha, Ya-air Ah-doe-nigh, pa-navh ay-leh-cha vee-choo-neh-ka, Yee-sa Ah-doe-nigh pa-nahv al-leh-cha ve-ya-sem l’cha Shalom. (Numbers 6:24-26). The Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

ROSH,
Be careful. I agree that Romans 3:31, but also agree with 1 Cor. 10:23-26; and Kefa's vision. Following Torah is probably the best thing for Jews and gentiles like myself; but I know one Jew for Jesus who eats oysters, and obviously- like myself- would not agree with legalism.
