I'm watching Ben Hur right now and I just have to say it is the most beautiful film ever made!

I've never seen it, but I've heard it's a great film

It's a very realistic looking chariot race, and legend insists it's that realistic looking because during the filming someone actually (by accident) got dragged. The director, Cecil B. Demille, insisted on continuing to roll film. The legend says that he paid off the family of the poor guy who got dragged, so he could use the footage.
