What is the difference, if any, between the Jews for Jesus and the Messianic Judaism?

Thanks,

Don

J4J is an evangelistic organization.

Messianic Judaism is a religious affiliation.

Well said but therein lies the dilemma.

If Jews for Jesus starts churches (not that they do but some organizations do) and if they bring people to Messiah and the body of Messiah, then they too are a function of the body.

Affiliation is also a word associated with an organization of which "Messianic" is not (apart from Messiah). There is no organization or group called Messianic. That is the body of Messiah.

I say this in order to emphasise that Jews for Jesus also has a part in the body of Messiah. If they do virtually everything that the body of Messiah does, they too are part of the body.

Messianic Judaism itself is also composed of other organizations. Some of them are Congregations but not all of them. There are other Evangelistic organizations and schools. Messianic also includes regular churches that enjoy a Messianic style of worship.

Messianic is basically information and practice that is not a part of traditional worship... but even they are becoming more Messianic.

Everyone is turning Messianic! We are all one body in Messiah!

Shalom!
