The prophet Abraham:


God will provide himself--the lamb for a burnt offering.

Genesis 22:8

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a righteous God--but what does righteous mean?


It means, He will not require of man what he is not willing to do himself.
God will provide himself--the lamb for a burnt offering.

Because Abraham offered his son as a burnt offering,
our righteous God offered His Son as an offering.

"Behold, the Lamb of God,
who takes away the sin of the world!"

John 1:29

Acually it states God will  provide HIMSELF a lamb

Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

God manifest Himself as a man Jesus and became the Lamb of God...

God Himself fulfilled Abraham's prophecy and becamd the sacrifice for us all.
