Too bad those 6 million Jews slaughtered in the Holocaust went to hell since they didn't believe in Jesus...

Or how about all those hundreds of thousands of Jews that were massacred by the Crusaders, they're burning right now... all because of not believing in Jesus...

Hey how about the Spanish Inquisition! Those hundreds of thousands of Jews are also burning in Hell! They should have bowed down to the cross right? then they would be alive AND not go to Hell!

I can't think of any more cases of jewish persecution right now, but if you can think of one, you can be damn sure that all those Jews were damned to Hell because they didn't believe in "the savior."

"Glad I'm not goin to Hell!"
Romans 9:14-24 NIV
What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?" But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' " Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?

What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath-prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory- even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?
I think Zach's post deserves a comprehensive reply.

I'd also like to know Jews for Jesus' stand on the issues he raises.

For one thing trying to preach to jews this way is not right. i see the people that killed people in the name of jesus worse. its about love not forcing your belief on people. How you know all 6 milllion go to hell? Are you God do you know all who accept Jesus or not?
.

It's too bad Ancient Israel rejected Adonai and followed after false pagan "gods" too.  And it's very bad that Ancient Israel killed G-d's Prophets as well.  Man is fallen and does rotten things.  Just because Ancient Israel brought paganism into the Holy Temple and killed people in the name of Adonai does not make following Adonai in TRUTH a pagan religion.  The same thing - just because the romans (ie: catholics) paganized the JEWISH Messiah does NOT mean following Yeshua HaMashiach IN TRUTH is paganism because it definitely is NOT.

Ancient Israel did a lot of abominable things in the name of Adonai and even downright rejected Adonai yet the small remnant that followed Adonai were put down and even killed as heretics by the majority.  They even brought their paganism into the Holy Temple.    The same thing today, those who are following Adonai and have accepted HIS Messiah (that He sent before the second temple was destroyed as He said He would) are rejected and ridiculed by the majority in the name of Adonai.

Just because evil things were done in the name of Messiah does NOT mean those that did them were following Messiah!   Same thing in Ancient Israel:  just because people did things in the name of Adonai does NOT mean they were following Adonai.

Read the Tanach for yourself and ask G-d to reveal His Truth to you.  Then read the Bri't Hadashah and you will see it is a JEWISH book written by Jews and for Jews about the Jewish Torah keeping and teaching Messiah that taught to love and obey Adonai.

.Just because atrocities have been done in G-d's name or in Messiah's name does not mean Adonai or Messiah endorsed those actions.

.
I am only one-sixteenth Jewish but I believe In Jesus because I was raised that way with childlike faith. Am I still Messianic ?
.

I am a gentile and I am Messianic because I follow the Jewish Messiah and walk in His Torah.  I do not celebrate the pagan holy days (ie: ishtar, christ-mass, etc.)  I keep Shabbat as Messiah taught, and I keep the dietary laws as Torah teaches (I do not keep any of the man made fences that Messiah taught against)

If you are following Adonai and what scripture teaches, you are Messianic regardless of what ancestors you have in your "pedigree"  I do not call myself a Messianic Jew because I am not Jewish - I'm a Messianic Believer.

Following the teachings of romanism or its daughters (ie most of mainstream "christianity") is not True Christianity - it is a mixture of babylonian paganism with Christian terms just like the mixture of paganism of Ancient Israel in the Holy Temple.  G-d DETESTS a mixture and calls it an abomination.

You must obey G-d and love Him with all of your heart as Messiah teaches.  Obedience means just what it says - not what the so-called "church" teaches.

Zach, I am sorry for all of the bad things that have happened to the Jewish people through the years. Gentile (Pagan) people have not had it all that great either. What has made the change for us is believing in the Jewish Messiah and the God of Abraham. If not for that, we would all still be beating each other over the head with clubs. Believing the teaching of the authentic Hebrew and other Scriptures is what has made the difference for us. It has been a hard road and we have not always understood what the right thing to do is but our faith in the God of Israel is what is bringing us to understanding.

That is why it is good to get all of this information out. Especially all of the many and varied details about the Lord. He cannot be seen yet He was seen many times. It is these facts and this word of the Lord that makes the difference for all of us.

Instead of generalizing, it might be good to specifically address each and every issue.

Shalom!
G-d have a diferent dealing with his People that with the gentiles.Only G-d knows who is saved or not

Messiah says the ONLY way to the Father is through Him.

There has been only one way for Jew and gentile to become acceptable to G-d and that is through a sin sacrifice for atonement of sin through the Cohen Gadol.  Yeshua is the Cohen Gadol who offered Himself as a sacrifice (as was pictured with Abraham and Isaac) for our sin.  It is necessary to accept His sacrifice in your behalf in order to be saved.  If there was any other way, then G-d would not have sent Messiah to die on our behalf.   The Tanach is clear that Messiah would suffer for our sins so why would this be in the Tanach if it were for the gentiles??? and why are Jews expecting a Messiah if they do not believe they need a Messiah?  Jews have had many deliverers: Joseph, Moses, David and they taught about a Messiah that was greater than they were.

Jews know they need a Mediator between them and G-d otherwise they would not be going to a man made retaining wall and worshipping it thinking it brings them closer to G-d.
