Both Judy Resnic and Illan Romon got killed in freak space shuttle accidents.  Were there any other Jews who survived the space shuttle besides Judy who made it her first time but not her second I understand (Correct me if I am wrong about any of this)?

Illan Ramon means pomogranate tree.  The other means praise slaughterer if taken literally (Resnic is slavic for slaughterer).  There is a Hebrew mystery to the Pomogranate.  Or, Ilan Ramon can mean Roman tree!  Judah slaughterer?

I think that neonazi satan worshipers have infiltrated NASA and are sabotageing flights with Jews.  Werner VonBraun and 11 other former Nazis were forced to resign from NASA in the 1970s or face trial for war crimes at allegedly committed at Penemunde.  This one guys wife walked around with a bullwhip in the cave where Jews worked as slave laborers makeing V2 rockets.  And VonBraun made him the personel manager over all of NASA!

The space program is a pride thing.  So I am saying God is against it in general.  Look at Obadiah 1:4.  It says if you make your nest with the eagle I will bring you down.  It is the heart attitude and Godless world view that is upsetting to God not just going into space.

So there are at least three waysof looking at this.  Is it chance, secret Nazis, or does God hold Jews to a higher standard?

If Obadiah verse four is about an ancient city then how would they litterally want to colonize space?

If it is wrong for ignorant Edomites to want to figuratively go into heaven how wrong is it for Jacob's descendants with PHd's and stuff to litterally do it?

Please forgive me for being so forward, as you do not know me, but I think you are being a little superstitious. After saying that let me add there are reason's for everything that occurs and God is soveriegn over all. At the time of this terrible tragedy, Ilan Roman was carrying a copy of a drawing by a young fourteen year old Jewish boy named Peter Gintz. This drawing was Peter's imaginitive rendition of what he thought the moon would look like, since he lived in a time when no one had yet landed on the moon. He was a bright and intelligent young boy with his whole life ahead of him and yet God allowed him to die in Auschwitz at the hands of the Natzis. If both these tragedies had not occured neither Peter nor Ian would have been known to the world, ( space flights into are now considered quite routine) and Peter's picture drawing may have remained unknown. Peter's picture has a very amazing and uncanny likeness to the surface of the moon. If you have not seen it, I suggest you look it up on the internet. Please don't get me wrong, I am not trying to give an answer as to why God allows some things to happen or even if this was the whole picture. I only know that we can trust Him to bring about thegreater good from tragedy and He has never stopped loving His chosen people, Isreal.

Thank you for reminding me of the Peter Ginz aspect of this story.  This does show that God loves us.  A small reminder of His care in the face of either meaningless or diabolical deaths.

This is an interesting critique to say that my evidence is supersticious.

If I said don't step on floor cracks without any Bible verse that would be one hundred percent supersticiuos.

Now people who cut their teeth on western culture and the scientific method tend to not accept anecdotal evidence.  For example to prove it has to  cause cancer in 1,000 or more lab rats.

However, the scientific method is not the only way of knowing things.  

The Jewish congresswoman who dug all this up said concerning the Iraq war that she "smelled a rat" in a radio interview.  This is an example of inductive reasoning rather than deductive, another name for woman's intuition.

Do I smell a rat in NASA?  Yes!  Am I afraid for Jewish people in trends I see there?  Yes!

Finally, I think signs are a valid way of knowing things so long as the sign interpreter is not seeking the sign but is open to signs.  Also, they must be interpreted from in the light of the whole of scriprture.

I have a book of puritan prayers and in one of the prayers the suplicant asks for "way tokens".  So, you see what I am saying?  If you want to do what God says and He  throws in a sign as a way token I think this is a valid decision makeing tool for a believer who puts scripture first.

The theological and scientific problems with NASA are very strong way tokens saying this is not the way to go.

No science of any value has been gained from the space station.  Can you challenge this?

I shouldn't have chosen the word supersticious to describe your concerns in your first post, but I found trying to tie the Bible verse that you quoted and other things to shuttle tragedies stretching it just a little.

Are you concerned that God could've fixed both shuttles and the disasters could have been avoided? There were other people who were not jewish and they died as well. Something as tragic as these two devastating accidents has far reaching consequences for good and also for bad. I often like to look at things as "what can we learn from this" from both angles. I never think anything is senseless because life is always full of purpose even if it is bitter sweet.

Chad you sound sarcastic. That is okay I like sarcasm. It shows some skepticism on your part. Good. Don't just accept things unless you are sure beyond a shadow of a doubt because it is as close as you will get with any type of evidence that makes sense.

As far as your final question. I am sure they have found out what it is like for the human body to live in space and all sorts of fantastic things that will one day help us here on earth. Thank God for this because He could have made us completely stupid i.e. with no capacity to learn anything.

In response to what someone else said to my obadiah quote I will point out that the same thing happens with the king of Tyre in Either ezekiel or Isaiah.  Satan was in that king so God spoke to the king and satan saying he was the guardian cherub and stuff.  This Isaiah text in I actually just saw is concerning Bablyon I think.  It is the one where satan says "I will" five times and it sounds like space program stuff.

You need to first drop back for a overview of theology.  The main message of the hebrew bible and messianic writiings is not that we will colonize space.  That is actually the main thrust of mormon escatology, or cosmology.

Second, even nonreligious people are questioning the economy and safety of the space shuttle.  You are right, 1 in 57 times a person goes up in that thing they die, don't matter what religion.  Well, that was the statistic up to 4 July 2006 when they launched again.

This brings up some other points.  Hamas in gaza went crazy at that time the satanic zigurat of space tiles went up again.  THey want to erect it in the plain of durah and sacrifice Jews to Marduke in it.  This will make the tower of space station bablel go faster if they appease the gods with jewish blood.

It isn't wrong to go into space.  God looks at the heart and if colonizing space is because people don't believe in GOd or the bible then it is wrong.  I dont want to miss the universe for the plants by getting hung up on one verse in Obadiah.
