Full Version: Looking for a Christian-Jew teacher

I'm new to this Forum. I have been looking for the longest while to make contact with a Christian-Jew so that I can share their knowledge of the bible. I'm a strong believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I want to compare my knowledge with the Christian-Jews. I certainly would love to meet a Christian-Jew personally to talk with. But that might be impossible because I live in the Caribbean, West Indies on the island of Trinidad and Tobago.

However, I have a question- Was Jesus Christ a financially poor man, middle-class or rich man?

I look forward to a response as soon as possible.

I am moving this thread to a better category for answers.
Is there any Jesus believing jew who  and can answer questions about Jesus?
Im not Jewish but I think he started out super rich, became middle class, then was poor by the time he died.
Jesus was not rich at all.    Jesus quote himself foxes have homes to rest but the son of man haves  no where to lay his head.  Jesus was most lieky bor nto a middle class good income people but he left that behind to bring the truth to us. To me that love someone totally giving up everything their riches glory all for me for and you.

Liza,
First, you have to quit saying "Jew teacher". Saying "Jew [whatever]" is anti-Semitic. You can maybe say "Christian Jew"; but "Messianic Jew" or "Jewish Christian" is prefered, and you need to reach the Jewish people (Messianic or not) where they are. Second, see sugarman's answer to your question.
GoyOf'shua,

I'm sorry if I offended any one by my ignorance on how to address the Jews.  But it will be an honor for me to have a Jewish person who believes in Jesus to talk with about their knowledge about Jesus, because my sweet Lord and Savior Jesus is a Jew. I'm also interested in the Jewish culture and Judiasm because I think it is important in the revelation of the scriptures
Sugarman,

Should we bless our foods before we eat?  If so, why?

I understand what you're saying; but I'm thinking, "Maybe that's why they weren't answering her at first." By the way, you can call someone a "Jew" or "Jewish" (but I think "Jewish" is prefered). I also had to learn that as I went and learned more about Jewish culture, Judaism, and the Jewish people.
