and by fundamental I mean, independent fundamental baptists, who stand on the King James Bible as God's infallible word and support missionaries and the cause of Christ.

Well, I can very modestly say that I believe I am the preeminent, reigning, and least-kudoed (read: most despised by Baptist-haters) Baptist on the boards heretofore.  You should have come to me first.  All sincere Baptists should check in with me first, once they have registered.

What would you like to know?
I believe in Christ Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I believe
He is the only way to G_d. (Jehovah)

I enjoy rock n' roll also........

Peace out!
Rock n' Roll lyrics that come to mind that do not "interfear" with my belief
in Christ:

O'conner-          Nothing compares to you
Santana-          Jesus is just alright with me
Dylan-              Shot of Love
Beatles-            All you need is love
Stones-            Beast of Burden, Lucky in Love
Led Zeppelin-     In the Light, Nobodies fault but mine
Clapton-            I get lost
Jeff Beck-          Almost all of his music

I love the Lord, and can appreciate good music too.

Peace out!

There seem to be many translations of the Bible, so to say that only the King James is trustworthy may be difficult to confidently say.  What is helpful is reading the Old Testament books of the Bible that are translated word for word from the Hebrew text and the New Testament from the Greek text.

Then, with the Holy Spirit teaching us what is true, we are on our way... and living in His rest, the best place to be, all the time.
Seems like to me some one is mixing up the differences between Bible translations and versions with THE WORDS OF GOD, HIS BOOK OF THE COVENANT AND HIS GREAT AND GLORIOUS GOOD NEWS.

Good old King James was used instrumentally by Yeshua to translate His Working Words inot the English language but, the translators were limited in what they knew and understood (as all people are).

Really and truly I am sick of Messianic believers quibling over what version or translation of The Bible is GOD's WORD.  God's Word is God's Words and only Himself in the position of The Holy Spirit is going to give any single person Wisdom, which is the summation of Knowledge plue Understanding.

We as mere human beings ought to be aware of the fact that we all have good and wild imaginations to create and make any manner of things so, we also have ability to misinterpret and be ignorant about exactly what it is GOD HAS SAID< IS SAYING AND WAS SAYING ALL ALONG FROM THE VERY BEGINNING TO THE VERY ENDING.

Why jump up on a soap box and toute KJV or any other version of the English Bible as the only WOrd of GOd?  We as believers are suppose to be walking and working inside LOVe and Faith together as GOD'S LIVING TESTIMENTS to His Way, Truth and Life...are we not?

We got more profitable things to concern ourselves and times with than arguing which version of The Bible is God's Word, and getting into foolish arguments over which words are the proper words in the text of the written words of The Bible.  May as well be debating and commng to blows over how many angels can fit on the head of a pin.

Thanks, Redface but, KJO hasn't been back to check in with me...I thought a fellow Baptist would understand Baptist humor.  Maybe what I have is more regional humor.  This is why I don't cut loose too often--doesn't seem to work as well at the forums.  Redface
I'm a NASB man, myself. It is said to be the most accurate translation.
