Revised Post Length & Frequency
Effective immediately, the revised maximum post length for the Jews for Jesus forum is 400 words. Moderators will be allowing for tiny bit of wiggle room on this, so that you can go a few words past the limit, but not many.

Also effective immediately is a limit on the frequency of posts by individual forum users. Users are allowed a maximum of 5 posts per day.

this rule needs to be removed just like the reputation thing. poof>>>>>>gone!!!!
the most important issues needs more than four hundred words and satan knows it! he also knows that if u are using the quote feature, u may have four hundred words even before u type any. what if i got a post that accuses jesus ten times in 300 words? or three 100 word questions?

this is the spirit of order and control. messyanic should have joined the police department. he likes to make and enforce rules and control stuff.

I don't understand why this subject is posted on 'Roman Catholicism' thread. It is way off topic imo.

He thinks that by limiting the words in a post, we Reformed/Protestant/Evangelical/Jewish Christians are "spirit killers" and thus as John Calvin: "heretics" (Martin Luther, I say, may have had some questioning of himself to do; because he ordered his congregations to burn synagogues, etc.). By the way, david, many in my family are either nominal or secular Roman Catholics, or now Protestants who are still trying to recover from their years in the Roman Catholic denomination in one way or another.

I would be really interested to hear about that. What are they trying to recover from? Could you give us some examples please?

For example, they were just told things without the why and were hardly encouraged to read the Bible or even allowed go to Protestant churches.

The rcc is not big at leting people read their bible for their self and reaching conclusions by their self.

Usually its the rcc that reads the bible and tells its people what it means very little catholic churches aprove of self reading.

That's exactly what happened with my mom and her family. Also, my mom once went to her friend's Episcopalian church for a service; then went to Confession at her church, and was told to not go to any Protestant church again; which I think is one of the reasons why my mom eventually considered becoming Protestant.
