It could have twelve or eight or four.  Why six?

I have controversial ideas on it but is there a real answer?
The star of David has 12 sides.
It is made up of triangles, representing the trinity, one pointing to heaven, the other to earth.
The 2 triangles combine to create 6 more triangles which represent mankind.
The star of David is Yeshua Messiah.
The 12 sided star represents the 12 tribes of Israel.
I like your answer about 12 sides and also that it the 2 make six.  The Jewish times said that God covers all dimensions pointiing every way.

Thanks.
