If God wants you to udnerstand something then he will have you understand it and it does not matter what age you are old or young.

That's very true. A good example of that is that we constantly learn from our elders and youngsters.
This is a goood post, i think...
We could also refer that it normally takes 3 or more attempts to learn what God wants us. This happens because we're sinful and we don't listen sometimes.
God normally makes us AWARE of something, at a certain age, through an elder or younger person, but we only tend to learn after we ignore, make a mistake and find ourselves in a awkward position. Only then, we look back and realize that the Lord already tried to worn us.
AWARENESS and ACCURACY makes the good Christian.
