Manhattan means place that sits all by it self in the middle of nothing. A prophecy about the desolation of Manhattan?
Masapequa is of unknown meaning but 2 indian forts were there and a tornado went from Amityville to Masapequa in the summer of 2006. It has been pretty crazy, there was even a tornado in Brooklynn in the summer of 2007.
American indians called NJ Paupoosing, meaning abode of the Dragon and were afraid to live there.
Well,some did come to the shore for the summer. But they stayed in NY. The point is not many lived in NJ.
Indians thought Kentucky was bad luck too or something.
