Hello fellow brothers and Sisters in Messiah,

I am a devout beleiver in the risen Lord Yeshua (Jesus), and am currently a proud Roman Catholic Christian. But recently I have become interested in Messianic Judaism, through particularly this website and many others-and some Messinic Jews whom I have spoken to. All of these factors, coupled with my own careful analysis, have made me beleive that Messianic Judaism would have been the format practised by Yeshua's first followers.
I still have a lot to learn about the Messianic Movement before ever joining Jews for Jesus and the movement (although I am seriously thinking about doing so)-which is where I would like some advice from the posters on this forum. It is late, but I shall return and am wondering wether you would be so kind as to answer some of my questions about Messinic Judaism?

Your brother in Christ,

Much Christian love Cool
To give further background information, I recently discovered that my great grandfather and possibly his daughter also, where German Jews (ashkenazi). So I have discovered I have a Jewish heritage, and that some distantly related family members might still reside over in Germany. This of course made me happy to know, as since Jesus was Jewish I am proud to have Jewish blood, although I was born Catholic. But of course, modern Judaism did not accept Yeshua, so did I relly have any ties? But then I found Messianic Judaism, which as particulraly interested me.

I would suggest you read the bible straight through from Genesis through Revelation asking G-d to open your eyes and show you His truth.  It's an eye opener seeing what happened with Ancient Israel and their rebellion against Adonai is being mirrored today in mainstream "christianity".

Unfortunately as Messianic Judaism is growing, so are the infiltrators that are spreading their lies and false doctrines.  This is not surprising because this happened in the early church before much of the Bri't Hadashah was even written.  It is extremely important to read the Tanach and Bri't Hadashah for yourself asking G-d to reveal His Truth in order to avoid being deceived by the wolves and false teachings.

There are many roman catholics that are finding the truth and turning away from idolatry that is a huge part of mainstream "christianity".  roman catholocism is not scriptural and neither is it's daughters.  Since you claim to be a "proud roman catholic" I suggest you explore that statement and what it means.
