JFJ Forums - Great Organization

I have been a strong contributer to Jews For Jesus for a long time. I believe in it's goals and aspirations for the calling of Christ. I have also over the years asked Jews of Jesus to pray for several people which not only have they been gracious in doing but they always write me and tell me specifically that prayer has been given for that person. David Brickner has written me specifically as many other Jews for Jesus volunteers from many parts of the country and the world. I am honored to support such a wonderful organization because I know my dollars are not wasted and the Jewish people that come in contact with them will be given the full gospel of Christ. My only regret is that I have never seen the Wailing Wall.

It is more properly called the Western Wall, or Kotel.
You may have not visited it live yet, but here is a nice
little movie to watch. Aish also has a live Wall Cam you
can watch on their site.

It's lovely, Significant. When I was there I was glad to be able to go to the Western Wall to pray there. Even better is the joy of walking on the Temple Mount, it's really peaceful there. While I walked across the platform the words of Ps 84 came singing into my mind:

1How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

2My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

3Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

4Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

8O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

While there, it started raining, and the rain filled little pools, and I watched the sparrows and swallows going to their nests. It seemed just perfect. I hope and pray that you will have this blessing, too. Smile

Sorry about that Sheitl, I actually meant the Jewish singing group the 'Wailing Wall'. They have toured in my part of the country but as of yet I have not had the priviledged of seeing them perform.

Never heard of them, but then again I don't keep
up with music nowdays. Actually, they should update their
name to "Western Wall".....no one uses the term "Wailing
Wall" any more....

Verse 10 sounds good to me!

Jews for Jesus (JFJ) has great purpose and "rocks".

I've been enjoying myself here. And had learnt a "handful".
