General internet ettiquette is that private e-mail or PM's are not posted in public forums without the permission of the author.
The posts which are moderated come in without formatting so it is at times difficult to see who actually said what when quotes are used. Generally, we would not post what appears to be private communication. We request that members follow standard internet ettiquette.
The general membership of this board does not have the authority to e-mail from the board. With the change of the unmoderated boards to moderated, the general members should no longer have access to e-mail.
Ours is a public Forum. We do everything possible to facilitate public postings of information and opinion which we deem is appropriate. We are not trying to provide a switchboard for people to meet and communicate with each other privately. This is our policy and to avoid cyberstalking, fraud, and harrassment.
However, general membership does have authority to use private messaging to communicate with each other as you see fit. If the private messaging is seen as harrassment, please request the member to cease communications.
