Quote from Anja:
"When we get baptized and receive the Holy Ghost we are sons of God and we are in the body of Christ and He is the head of the body."
RE:
Baptism is more a spiritual ritual than anything else. It is a religious tradition that describes one's hunger for God's knowledge and hope for divine blessings. It should mean acceptance and submission to The Almighty God.
From the time we are conceived to the day we are born in flesh, we become God's children. How we conduct ourselves after that will dictate and determine whether there is righteousness to ascend or not.
Dear brother thise are not my words but a quote from some other post .
I to believe there is much more to it than just get baptised to be cleaned from your sin.Our own I died in Christ his name as we go under the water ,and we received a new live in him as we rice out from the water
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 6:2 May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? 6:3 Or don’t you know that all we who were immersed into Messiah Yeshua were immersed into his death? 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through immersion to death, that just like Messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. 6:7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 6:8 But if we died with Messiah, we believe that we will also live with him; 6:9 knowing that Messiah, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him! 6:10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God. 6:11 Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.
But this is not the Post to talk about his subject now .
