To be perfectly honest the thought for this topic was inspired by the current interest in the US Presidential Elections. During the current U.S. presidency there has been a lot of very dangerous military campaigns in very religiously volatile countries with ominous religious connotations.
I believe that the war to end all wars will take place in 'The Real World' with a massive potentiality of U.S (with others) involvement/instigation.
I belive the Bible points to Israel as the 'epicentre' of this whole Middle Eastern and eventially World Wide conflict. The United States, as the leading world power, has a huge responsibilty because it is the main player in this war game. That is why the election of the next US President is of World importance.
The war to end all wars is sometimes referred to as 'Armageddon' or 'The Final Conflict'. The Bible informs us where the armies involved in this war to end all wars will be gathered - "...he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon..." (Revelation/Apocalypse 16:16)
However, this passage only indicates where the armies of the final conflict will be gathered - it does not enlighten us the location of where the final war will be fought. The answer is interesting. Anyone any ideas?
