Shabbat shalom.This post is with respect to fundraising for a school in Russia.Im trying to put some ideas to the messianic community and,get some idea of the response.Do you think a financial settlement can be part of gods will?Should jews be apolitical?i cant get involved in that.We need to seek peace and pursue it and, sometimes showing goodwill involves a financial offering.What do you think?kind regards,grace to you,patrick buckley.

I'm not sure I know what you mean when you said "Do you think a financial settlement can be part of gods will?"I think it is God's will that we love our neighbor as our self.  I believe that to put that commandmant into action sometimes (often?) requires that we give offerings.  
I don't know enought about your specific situation, or about the school in question, but sharing God's Word and helping otheres is a very good reason to give offerings!
