I am finally talking to somebody who is definitely not a born again on this site!

There are some fine distinctions here, maybe this is  a rabbit but Elliot Spitzer was not Identifiably Jewish.  (N.I.J.)

1) He marrried a nonjew
2) he canceled the annual Hanuka party by previoius nonjewish gov.
3) he canceled Seder held by previous nonjewish gov.

His secularism makes him seem even Antisemitic?  

Or wasn't Camus Jewish and atheist?  He even wrote a book about the dynamic tension called Jewish and Antisemite about himself if I am not Mistaken.

A local Jewish radio show called Spitzer a J.A.S.P. (Jewish Anglo Saxon Protestant) because of Christmass!

If you want to go down the idol road then you need to be ready to kill me and anyone else who worships Jesus.  You can't have it both ways.

I know what it is to worship an Idol because I struggle with porno addiction.  Worshiping Jesus doesn't bring the death darkness and doom worshiping an Idol does.

The Muslims don't have the audacity to call me and Moshe Rosen an idolater, how do you?

I don't think you have what it takes to be a Phineas.

Rabinical Judaism worships man and all your Rebbe's on the wall with in pictures looking so holy with long beards.  Worship is your whole life not what you do a few hours on the weekends.

Rabbinical Judaism=man as an idol because they are created.

Jesus proved He Him self is Creator by riseing from the dead.

JFJ should change their name to Messianics for Jesus so as to include people like me who are nonjews but have a jewish identity to some degree.

Torah spoke of Christ.  John 5:38-40

The resurrection of Christ fulfilled Christ's own prophecy of His death and resurrection.  Luke 24:6-8; Luke 18:31-34; Luke 24:38-40; John 20:26-28

See how the lawyers and scribes fared against Jesus; read the NT gospels.  And then, like Jesus said, search the scriptures.  He said in them you think you have eternal life; but Jesus Christ is the life.  John 14:5-7

I didn't call you an idolater, I just repeated the Word of G-d. So if you have an objection to what G-d says, you should bring it up with HIM.

If you actually knew what you were talking about, maybe you would have a chance.
Rabinical Judaism and for that fact NONE of Judaism worships anything but G-d Himself.

We do value the work of the Sages.

This is more of a xtian site than a jfj site.

WE are starting to go combative here.

That is not what I really want.

I guess you just don't see it.

There may be a fine distinction here.

For example, evangelicals really don't appreciate Mormons.

And as far as you are concerned all Christians might as well be Mormons.

But think of maybe a new category.  Monotheistic cults.  

Muslims don't slaughter Jews and Christians because they are Monotheists.  There is some grey area with idolotry or what Moslems call shirk here because they don't normally slaughter Christians like they do polytheistic idolaters.

You see, Muslims aknowledge we worship one God but say Christians have added associates.

Jews normally show great riggor in their thinking.  However, in this case it seems rather wooden and unelastic for you to monolithically categorize all Christians as idolaters because they worship Jesus as God.

I like your screen name.  I hope you are studying scriptures alot.

I need to clarify my Rabbis as Idols comment because I don't want to sound antisemitic.

I have benefited from things in the Talmud, like about dreams.  (I had a night vision of a wolf among other things and am wondering if an animal in  a vision is good as in a dream.)

So I will say idolotry is dangerous not just in the black and white but in the greys.

I am just as prone to the idolotry of man in principle of law religion.

Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteouness. Gen 15:6

Without being condemning, this is kind of the grey slippery slide I see Jewish people and their rabbis getting into.

SMR~ JFJ doesn't claim to be "Judaism for Jesus"... so, now that you have conceded that being a Jew is not the same as following Judaism, what's the point of the thread at all?

There should be more and more Jews visiting this site as the L-rds Day approaches. Amen.

May every believer or none believer form this forum tell at least one Jew about the JewsforJesus forum. Inspire them with the interesting debates and opinions that are expressed in this safe environment.

Do not forget to mention that we have very faithful Orthodox Jews that also visit this site to correct some of these heathen Christians! What a blast!
