It has been my experience that most of the people who post and are memebers of jfj are NOT Jews at all.

I truly understand the heart behind the matter, but would question if the majority are Jews or not.

But whoever founded JFJ is Jewish. Do you research.
Goy,

I think you better do a little research yourself. Mr. Rosen converted way before he started jfj.

Mort "Moishe" Rosen, the founder of Jews for J-sus, is a minister, who has led Chrstian congregations. These are quotes directly from his biography on the Jews for J-sus website.

"Diploma, Northeastern Bible College, 1957; DD, Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, 1986. Ordained to ministry Baptist Church, 1957."
As you can see, it is clear that he became an ORDAINED BAPTIST MINISTER IN 1957 and he is also a graduate of two Chrstian colleges; Northeast Bible College and the Western Conservative Baptist Seminary!
Here is more information on him directly from their website:

"Trustee Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, Portland, Oreg., 1979-85, 86-91, International Council on Biblical Inerrancy, Oakland, Calif., 1979-89; board of directors, Chrstian Advocates Serving Evangelism, 1987-91. Received Hero of the Faith Award from the Conservative Baptist Assoc. of America on July 7, 1997."

Have a question for you searchingmyroots:

Who is The Messiah that Jewish people so wait for... Is that Elijah ?

Greetings!
Primogenit,

Elijah will usher in the messiah as promised by the prophet Malachi.

3:23 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

24 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Did John the Baptist do this? He said he wasn't Elijah. Where does it say Elijah won't know who he is? It says nothing that he will come in "spirit".

There is no specific person that is "The Messiah". We aren't waiting for someone to claim to be one, because we'll know just by looking out the window. G-d told us so. HE told us:

End of the Exile
World Peace
Third Temple will be rebuilt
All of the world will know One G-d

Has ANY of these things happened yet?
When they do, then we will know who messiah is.

The funny thing is this; xtian claims over 300 prophecies were fullfilled by jc about a messiah. Not one of them pertains to what the Hebrew bible says will happen when the messiah arrives.

The xtians think that will happen during "the second coming".

Can you show me where it says that in the Hebrew bible?

If the messiah does not fullfill his mission the first time, he is not the messiah.

I hope I have answered your questions.

It's amazing how xtians take the Jewish perspective of messiah, and change it to fit their agenda.

One does not have to be partially blind to be Jewish!

Your lame arguments are kicking against the goads... bring something of value to the table...

Searchingmyroots would you really sell Joseph to Egypt simply because you didn't understand his dreams?

You should be ashamed claiming Jewishness

1Jn 4:20 If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if he does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

1Pe 1:3 Wrote:

Praised be God, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who, in keeping with his great mercy, has caused us, through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah from the dead, to be born again to a living hope,

Very informative searchinmyroots...
Thank you for clarifying.

Since I'm a self-proclaimed Christian, I never followed much of Judaism until few years ago. It's interesting to know other people's views.

I agree with most you said. It seems to make more sense to me than a lot of the nonsense some Christians brothers talk about.

Shalom!

searchinmyroots, are all Baptists, Christians?  Are all gentiles, Christians?  What happens to his national and spiritual identity, when a gentile converts to Christianity?
Baptistic,

You said;
"Your lame arguments are kicking against the goads... bring something of value to the table..."

SMR:

Another deflection. What arguement are you talking about?

I responded to a reply of Goy (2nd post) that said;
"But whoever founded JFJ is Jewish. Do you research."

Then I posted a reply that is straight from the very founder of the organization jfj.

So what on earth are you talking about? Either agree or disagree, don't deflect.
So you answer the question; Was Mr. Rosen a Jew when he started jfj?
If you can't answer questions, then don't bother replying. Thank you.

That's a good question, why don't you ask them? They seem to think so.
As do the;
Catholics
Lutherns
Methodist
Pentacostal
Protestants
Presbyterians
Mormons
Latter Day Saints

Well since we are asking :

Are all Jews Jews just because they are born that way...
are Orthodox  more than Reformed?
are Reformed more than Orthodox and Hassidic?

Were the Jews that worked for the Nazi's Jews?

Its a dumb question...God knows His people...Jew or Gentile....we all Jew and Gentile follow God....wether Christ or Ywha...when the time comes God will seperate His sheep from the goats.
