As the L-rd has revealed to me my Green family's Jewish roots, I have lived the life of a Jew. My great grandmother Green would probably have it no other way.

I asked the L-rd in prayer, how could this be? What is this thing that keep's tugging at my soul? I am not worthy of this mantle; after all I am only part Jewish. And then he whispered and said because I have called you.

Why did G-d bring me back from the brink of oblivion? Is this what he meant when he said that he will Breath the spirit upon you and you're dry boned will become as flesh? I don’t know.

G-d's love for me and all his children have been made complete through the blood of Yeshua.

This Passover will mean more to me than words could ever tell. I know that G-d took the blood of his most precious lamb (Yeshua) and applied it to the door post of my heart, and because of the that great sacrifice, I have found favor in the house of G-d, forever.

As the Passover Seder will lead us to a time of remembrance, Let us also remember to pray for the lost sheep of Israel, ( the Jews) that they to will find grace, love and forgiveness through the blood Yeshua the Messiah.

Shalom.
Noah,

Sorry, no lost sheep here. Just a bunch of G-d fearing Jews who keep His instruction book close to their heart. G-d gave us EVERYTHING we need and EVERYWAY to do it.

Why are xtians so obsessed with "blood"?

Why would you relate your messiah to the lamb that was sacrifced on Pesach if that lamb represented an Egyptian god?

Profound post, but you're only part-Jewish or with Jewish ancestry if you're less Jewish than the sons of Joseph and Judah, whose respectives dads each had gentile wives. So, you're Jewish, and a complete (Messianic) Jewish man.

1) Sorry, I did not mean to offend you, but my love for Israel and the Jew's provokes me to share the good new's of Yeshua's saving grace!!!

2) Why are xtians so obsessed with "blood"?.....Because it has always taken the BLOOD of a spotless Lamb to pay for the atonement of man's sin.

3) The blood on the doorpost of my heart was a metaphor. It took the blood of a lamb to save Israel, and it took the blood of Yeshua to save the world.

Shalom!!!Mrgreen

Goy

Well, also, it hurts those who will now not know whether they or others are or were Jewish. For example, my estranged dad's parental granddad from Poland came here as a Roman Catholic with the last name of "_______ski"; and changed his name to "______cki". So, whether or not he was a Diasporan Polish Catholic, I won't know.

Dear Goy, you're heart tell's me you are Jewish. remember this, the childern of Ephraim (the 10 lost tribes of Israel) will have to come back to their Jewish heritage before the Messiah will return. That means millions of people just like you and I standing together with other Jews.

Have a great Passover......................Shalom!!!

Noah,

Just FYI/

You mention Ephraim. I'm not positive what you actually believe concerning Ephraim and the 10 'lost' tribes but I wanted to let you know that there are congregations which call themselves Messianic, or Messianic Israel which teach a theology called 'Two House'. This theology has other names as well.

Messianic Judaism does not believe in 'Two House' theology and most major Messianic Jewish organizations have written papers which state the errors of this theology.

I'm not sure if you are referring to Two House theology, or if you picked it up at the Messianic service you attended. If you did, then chances are this congregation is not considered to be Messianic Judaism by the majority of Messianic Jews.

Jans.

My point was simply this, Orthodox Jew's do not recognize Jew/Gentile Messianics, but they do believe in Ephraim's return. Ephraim's diaspora was scattered all over the world, so if they do not recognize Messianic's (many of which was forced into conversion and assimilation) where do they think the 10 lost tribes will be coming from?

So my contention was more about what they believe, rather than what we believe.

Shalom!!!!!

Ok, thanks Noah, I misunderstood what you were writing.

The term 'Ephraim' as you use it is kind of 'foreign' to me. The only group I have heard use that term for the scattered tribes are Two House.

There is a belief that the scattered tribes will be identifiably children of Israel/Jewish. Up to this time, that has held relatively true. As some of the scattered tribes return, it has been found that some have a story which has been passed down about being forced out of their land and traveling for many days/weeks/months or years to the new location to settle. Some have a passed down story that they will return to their land. Many practice ritual circumcision. Some practice other religious things which are reflective of the law. Many discourage inter-marriage and view themselves as a separate group from the surrounding people groups.
