                                   The Lamb

G-d the Father took his son, his most precious one, and placed him on the altar of love. And there he did sacrifice to pay the price for our transgressions.

But oh how his heart was broken, that when he wept, G-d's tears began to fill the Sky, The clouds hung low in mourning and the Sun refused to shine, The wind wailed softly in her sorrow, then Yeshua bled and died.

But what a bounty, what a cost that he would ransom for the lost, Oh rose of Sharon, my mind is troubled and my heart cries out I was not clean, Yet you died for me.

Dear Messiah would that I could drink that bitter cup. If only I was worthy to stand in you're stead. But alas my heart is wicked and my deed's are evil. My offering for the lost, like a whisper in the wind, could not begin to pay my dept upon that cross.

You rescued me from the tempest snare and delivered me with you're atoning blood. You anoint me with the oil of thy salvation that flows down and covers my tears.

When my soul is dry, you quench my thirst with thy living waters. You show the wisdom of thy new covenant for all you're childern. You hide me in the cleft of the rock, and cover me with the shadow of you're blessings.

Dear Yeshua give me sight that I may see you in all of you're Glory for I look through a glass darkly. Take me into thy tabernacle that I may worship the redeemer of my soul.

May I find favor in you're Kingdom and forever sing praises to the lamb that sets on the throne. Amen.
