I almost forgot I was a Christian (born again of water and the Holy Spirit) when I read your last line.

I am astounded that a supposed Christian can utter such calumny.You
are  not God and nor am I so what He knows of each and every one of us is between that person and God as the Trinity or however He chooses to reveal Himself. Witness the woman taken in adultery.

I am a Catholic and proud to be a member of the church founded by Jesus Christ on Peter, His rock.

I am sorry that we are human beings who sin.  I am sorry you cannot be content with your faith and leave the rest to God.  We human beings make a terrible mess of things.  We are cruel and inhuman.  We lie and cheat. But we have free will and our choice is clear.

We could all make lists of sinners we have known but he who is without sin can cast the first stone and that ain't me! (well, only sometimes!)

My faith is built on the rock of Peter
- a faith given to him by  Jesus Christ.  I struggle but I do try to love others as I have been loved.

So let's call an end to this hatred of Catholics being manifest in your writings and we will both set about doing God's will in a mature and Christian manner.

Maybe I need to add that I believe many many Catholic's are Christians.  The evidence of that is overwhelming.

My problem isn't with lay Catholics, my problem is with the manager's, the Pope and his Cardinals, and the Bishops.

In America we've just gone through hundred's of court cases of child abuse, in which at least a few hundred thousand children were molested by their Parish priests or by other Priests working in the church.

In Boston, my community, the number of abused adults who came forward was in the thousands -- plus several people I have encountered have identified themselves as victims too, but are too ashamed to be public (they have kids and don't want to get into this stuff with their children.)

And each of these people is dysfunctional.  At least in my opinion..

(I'm not one of these folks, I grew up in a Jewish household -- but the real religion of our homes, at least for me, was atheism.)

PS:  FULLMARK, I'm not your judge, I have enough trouble keeping myself kosher!, but I think we each see you as an authentic Christian.  I'm not supposed to say this (we're not supposed to compare ourselves among ourselves,) but I just wanted to say that i think your fruit is obvious -- as I say, I'm concerned with my own life, and I think God wants me to be helpful to others, not hurtful.

You are asking me not to publish my remarks which are loaded with the facts, ie., I have a problem with the idea that the Catholic church is a Christian church.

Is it filled with Christians?  I am not a demographer, but I know some Catholics who I am sure are Christians.  It's just obvious.

My remarks were about the managers of that church, it's managed by people, who, over and over again, have been involved in some pretty disgusting sin.

Consider, say, Moses.  Do you think for a minute that Moses was molesting children?  (I don't even like saying this -- and I am doing so not because I think he was such a person, OF COURSE NOT) .  

Moses was a good man, generally a wise and holy man, even! very holy -- that's what the record shows.  God chose a real champion in Moses.

See, it's incompatible with the idea of being holy, of belonging to Christ.  And yet, that's exactly what we see in the Catholic church.  Several Popes have, over the course of the last 1600 years or so, exhibited real and very painful anti-semitism.  And over and over again, the management of the church, the Pope yes, but especially the Cardinals and the Bishops, have been involved in sex crimes, either they themselves or tacitly supporting priests who have been caught.

Margaret, you may not like this, but this is the simple truth.  If you live in America and read the newspapers you must know this.  Your denial of these facts is not honest.  Sorry, but this is the truth.  -- I am not saying I respect the news media and I realize they have a strong anti-Christian bias, but in these situations they are simply reporting the facts as shown by court hearings, guilty pleas and jury verdicts.

And please try to remember that I am not accusing you or the other people who are the lay members of the Catholic church.  I think that many lay Catholics, at least among the people I encounter, are actual Christians.  Very weak, yes.  And I am not their judge -- I don't want to be and I assure you, I am not.

Please remember that I am not accusing the lay people.  Are they sinners?  Yes, and so am I.

Each person in this world is.  Only Jesus lived and never sinned.

Please don't ask me not to counsel new Jewish Christians against the Catholic church.

First off all, I don't know from what kind of ''true'' Church you belong too. Because my father and grandparents, where specifically not helped by the Evangelicall Church in 1942-1945, no food,  no communication etc. .... That's why I try to avoid fanatic religious ideas from all religions...

I still don't believe it... In our Torah is written that The Almighty Himself aquiered / bought us Jews as a nation, and he was (and is) our Savior, also when we left Egypt etc.

So why has OUR Torah-based God has to die first?? So that we can afterwards accept another Lord and Saviour.????

Rabbi, I do sincerely understand your sentiments and respect your faith.

The two Jewish girls in question became Christians of their own free will having been convicted and convinced, not by human invitation, but by the Holy Spirit in accordance with the fulfilled prophesy of Joel 3:28-32. Here in England we cannot force anyone not to convert from another Faith.

Whilst you consider they turned their back on their faith and the faith of their murdered parents, they definitely did not turn their back on their God; they actually did not convert from the Jewish Faith, they became 'Complete Jews'. Jews and Christians worship exactly the same God - the God of Abraham.

What do you mean? That I'm not a complete Jew? Even Jesus said that only his FATHER is Good. So also Jesus is somewhat incomplete Jew, like nobody is perfect.

But, a Jew who believes in Yeshua, very often doesn't keep the rules anymore commanded by the Altmighty. So I must say that I often see a lot of Liberal, Secular Jews allready doing les complete what The Almighty wanted to do from them. Extra difficult with Messianic Jews, is that if they believe in Trinity, or that Jesus is God. That it's actually a replacement of God, and by that worshipping Idols.
And that is where I'm most affraid of, that they replaced God by doing so. Is that the reality from these girls??

It's a bit a pity to blame only the Catholic Church for this. As if protestants where much better. I find it quite discriminating towards Catholics.

It is an undeniable truth that Protestants murdered many people; I am not sure if it ran into millions; nevertheless murder is murder be it of one life a a million lives.

Just for the record, I am not a Protestant!
