I was looking at a book about chrystelephantine states (means bronze and Ivory) when the author noted Solomon's throne was something like the statues in his book (2 Chron 9:17).

The artist who made the statues had passed away in 1947, but his wife was still alive.  She related the story of how a lion surprized him at the zoo.  He froze to save his life.  Hard times had hit and he got a job at the zoo.

Strangely, lions were on this ivory throne of Solomon.

Another strange thing. The two main foundaries this artist used were owned by Jewish families in Paris!

I won't go into detail, but Paris in the 1920's was not a wholesome place.

So his statues of girls, many I think the Lord would  not be pleased with.

God used this artist.  Don't get me wrong.  Maybe the one he made that was good was "to and unknown God" type thing.

So-how do I wrap this up.   To be honest these statues are a yetzer hara or sinful nature provoker, at least for red blooded men in many cases.

But you see in Psalm 115:8 that everyone who trusts or makes and idol will become like them.  This is what happened to the artist.  He was frozen before a lion.

You see how it all goes together?  The ivory is meant to support the Davidic king, there were lions on this ivory throne!

These idols dont talk or breath or move.  The maker of these idol will be like them!

One last thing.  666 could be the two thirds that don't support the throne of David.  Two thirds of a tusk cant be used for ivory, and by way of analogy, does not go for the throne support as the good one third.
You have to kill the beast to save the one third good ivory from the tusk.

Is it a grey african beast?

Or is it like two thirds of the church looks strong and carvable but in the end does not support the Davidic throne and has to be thrown away?
The abode of Esau becomes the haunt of dragons, jackals. Malachi 1:3.

Taanim is reapeaaters.  Any elongated beast, a stellar sea cow, a wooly mammouth, a snake an elasmosaurus.

Also, the repeaters of Rabbinical tradition have a name like this, Taanim.

So is the beast a grey african but with no facial hair like a wooly mammouth even though he is a grown man and 46?
