Thats what this guy does to me some times. I realized that I was makeing me feel like I didn't know God.
I often answer by refereing to Deuteronomy/Devarim 29:29 where it says the hidden things belong to the Lord, but what is revealed is for us and our sons to put into practice.
This is a good answer for a nonobservant Jew because the ball is now in his court.
I heard a story once about a guy who was a megalomaniac and when seeing people studying in the library he got angry and ran through the library yelling "stop getting ahead of me!"
That is kind of how this guy's questions made me feel.
But before I answered I calmly listened and reminded my self of what the Bible says (but not him - things he wouldn't understand).
So it turned into a Philipians 1:29, the biggest witness was that I didn't throw a hissy.
I reminded my self of 3 things.
1) I have the mind of Christ and the Holy Spirit interceeding for me with groanings to deep for words, so even though I don't know everything in a way I do.
2) I reminded my self of the psalm that says I am like a weened child and don't bother with things too difficult for me.
3) Jesus tells me what He is doing and He is my friend like it says in the Gospel of John. This doesn't mean all my megolomaniac desires of reading all the books in the library or knowing the answer to every possible question will be fulfilled.
