As we have contributors to this forum who adhere to the teachings of Herbert Armstrong, I think it behooves us to know what those teachings are.

To that end, I simply submit these Wiki pages:
Herbert W. Armstrong
Worldwide Church of God

However, the WCG, since Armstrong's death, has become "mainstream". See here: Worldwide Church of God - beliefs

But, here is the church which carries on Armstrong's teachings: The Restored Church of God

Just an FYI.
Here's a link page to a list of groups/publications that were in some manner, once related to the Worldwide Church of God and Herbert W. Armstrong.

If you've clicked on the above link, you'll notice it's quite extensive.

The United Church of God, Living Church of God and Philadelphia Church of God are the largest.

If anyone is interested in teachings geared more towards a theological viewpoint, I'd suggest:

Read Herbert Armstrong's best book and judge for yourself. It's called Mystery of the Ages.
For a very helpful overview on mainstream cults, read (with a Bible and a dictionary alongside):

What the Cults Believe by Irvine G. Robertson

Also, read Erwin Lutzer's Christ Among Other gods and The Doctrines That Divide.

And there's always Kingdom of the Cults by Dr. Walter Martin. Edited and updated since his death.

If folks read and knew their Bible, they would know (like the noble Bereans) what is biblical and what isn't - instead they often blindly follow "cult" watchers (who make a profit out of their books and tapes and such) and take their word as gospel. How ironic.
It's ironic that you say that and sell books on your web site.
David,
I like to go straight to the horse's mouth, pardon the expression. When I went to your web site, I then clicked on the book advertised on Amazon and went to their site to read about your book. Down below that I read a review that claims you were "arrested and deported from Israel for his alleged involvement in terrorist activity against the Muslim Mosque in Jerusalem".

Is that true??? What's the story behind that, if there is one?
