But if the quote is obvious or comes after the previous post, why reiterate what people can look up or understand? Also, especially to the anti-missionaries who are Talmudim, please be intellectually and overall honest. For example, if you're going to hold to an anti-patrilineal stance, please say that mothers can pass the scepter; and don't acknowledge patrilineally-Jewish people like Jacob as Jewish, since you don't see Isaac as the first Jewish man or Jacob as Jewish, because Jacob married women who worshipped family gods and were gentile.
I have been wanting to ask the same thing.
They provide these nice quote tabs so it doesn't take much effort and it certainly makes the conversation make more sense.
If one doesn't want to use the entire quote most of us are computer literate enough to cut out what we aren't responding to.
