They do concern a soon-coming period of intense economic suffering and societal fear.
How long ago did he say these things, FN? And how long does he imagine that they will last?
I placed the first post in June 08, shortly after I watched the first Prophecy alert online, so about 3.5 months ago.
It has been some while since I watched any of the programs, but I don't recall any of them giving a duration for the time of trial.
My experience has been that the Spirit of Christ confirms himself out of the mouth of more than one witness.
Perry in at least one of the prophetic alerts recommends starting a garden (a hint to the possible duration of the time of trial) and during that same time when the prophetic alerts were posted online I stumbled across a
South West Radio Ministries broadcast also recommending people
start gardens.
When I spoke about these Perry Stone Prophetic alerts to one of my stalwart Christian friends that I see infrequently--she and other believers at her place of work--not having heard of this message-- were already beefing up their pantries and preparing in other ways for difficult economic times, because of the steadily upward trend in fuel and grocery prices.
The increasing possibility of
this event is also on the horizon--which would have a definite negative effect on the
world economy.
That is not to say I disapprove of Israel or the west taking military action against Iran, in fact I believe it is better done sooner than later, but because the west has let Iran's nuclear holocaust aspirations come so near to completion, when the
impetus to act is finally irresistible, the economic fallout will be magnified because of all the other problems coming to a head at the same time.
from the column linked above: "Today, there is only one way to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Israel must bomb Iran's nuclear installations."
I again strongly recommend everyone get
the DVD and watch it for yourselves--you may want to try using the links in the first post of this thread--even though the videos aren't displayed on Perry's website--they may still be there by web address.
Update: The JWR link for: "this event" was down , so I linked to the same column posted on Carolyn Glick's website.
