How do we get saved as taught by the Apostles of the Lamb.

I will try to teach this truth as best as I can for all to have a chance to understand.

Even before reading your posts your claim of Apostleship already rang alarm bells… and they proved to be true.

I suggest we rename this thread to “Saved according to Wilby and his interpretations!”.

Unitarians really mess up as they go along and become very legalistic.
Whats next... enforcing who can and who can't take communion? Is that your second favorite doctrine?

I have a question for you Wilby… in your local Apostolic Church how many people come to Christ each year? I think even the JW cult that recruit through doctrine would match your numbers? Discern the spiritual fruit? How many follow your beliefs...whatever they are.

The letter does not save but G-ds power! Its not the baptism of water but the work of the Spirit! Not scriptural !!

Brother most (if not all) who confess Y'shua on this site are baptized so maybe you could be more efficient with your time? We are all baptized but we interpret that doctrine differently. Lets move on for your lack of Jewish context on the subject does not bring value...
Who cares about Jewish content, not me, salvation is for all.

Php 1:18  But so what? All that matters is that in every way, whether honestly or in pretense, the Messiah is being proclaimed; and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

Blessed be the Name of Y'shua HaMashiach

That is news to me!!!I sincerely doubt that what you are saying is true. Lack of Jewish content? Well I thought I was quoting all the Jewish apostles when I quoted their scriptures.
I have an idea!

Wilby has his beliefs.

You and I have our own beliefs.

We've beat this thread to a pulp and it will never end!

Let's just finish by saying;

Wilby, I'm glad you are happy with your beliefs.

Please respect that others are happy with theirs.

G-d knows our hearts.

You know yours!

I say this thread is done!

Please, no more posts.
BELIEVE - anyone that was a true believer back then got baptized in Jesus name.

Try to find me one believer that was not baptized into Jesus.

Baptism is what makes someone a true believer!

'How where you baptized since you first believed' was a question from Paul.

You see he met some believers and right away Paul says how where you baptized since you first believed. He did not ask them if they where baptized as they said they where believers.

Believeing and being baptized was common knowledge back THEN!

Where does faith come into play?

Believe, get baptized, and have faith in baptism that it will save you. This is to have faith in Christ and believe what He says and that what He did will lead to your salvation through baptism into His name. Being born again without the curse, a new creature in Christ.

Follow Jesus through death, burial and resurrection. The ONLY way to do this is by Baptism into His death and rise out of the water in the likeness of His resrrection.

You receive His name and are joint heirs with Christ.

You will NOT get any of what I just said just by having faith or just by believing. For one, if you don't get baptized then you are not a true believer and you don't have faith in Christ. For to have faith in Christ is to have faith in His salvation or Faith that His salvation will save us through His name by receiving His name when you are born again.

All scriptural and not twisted to suit my beliefs as I have seen from recent posts od which I am tired of responding.

Get Saved!  Your choice, make the right one.

Having some head knowledge is not salvation!!

again This is talking abotu baptism of the holy spirit.    The believers have the holy spirit it just didn ot come on them.

to understand this you need to understand the greek language.

again petersays baptism is a FIGURE of what saves you.

stilll you need to learn the meanings

a true beleiver will follow Christ command but it not a command for salvation.

Question when Jesus said to the disciples recive the holy spirit did they? even thou nothing at that point happen?

or what abou paul or call Jesus Lord right when he appear was he saved then?

scripture says no one can call Christ Lord but by he holy spirit.

baptism is symoblic of death and resurrection not what literal saves us.

Believe, get baptized, and have faith in baptism that it will save you. This is to have faith in Christ and believe what He says and that what He did will lead to your salvation through baptism into His name. Being born again without the curse, a new creature in Christ.

Give me one verse where the bible says water baptism make you a literal a new creature ok?

if you cant you have no case

When you believe you are made a new creation  baptism is The figure of this new creation.

wilby i suggest you stop twisting The word of God.
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

baptism is a work unto obeying Christ command after one is save not before.

NO WORKS save none zip zero  after we believe we are made Literal a new creation when we are baptism it is a figure of this new creation.

Something wilby you do not understand Nor do you want to see the Truth.

we are made to do works after we are saved.

You are basing everything on something that is just a figure and that you think it literal saves you.

for baptism of he holy spirit and paul asking did you recieve the holy spirit when you believe? I suggest you read this.

When one believe there are indwell with the holy spirit

http://www.blueletterbible.org/cgi-bin/c...Select.y=5

I will cut a short line from this person

3. It is important to note that for them to be "believers" and to have been baptized in the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit had to be "residing within" them, yet they had not received the Baptism!

what he saying The holy spirit have to be indwelling in the believer before they were baptism but indwelling does not mean baptism of the holy spirit.

One can be saved and Have the holy spirit indwell into a believe. This because the baptism of the holy spirit does not happen right away does not mean they are  not being lead by the spirit.

baptism of the holy spirit is not a formula God is not bound by our experience.

my experience is when I felt the holy spirit power that almost knock me over
willby another question and I hope you can answer this one.

Does a pastor have to baptism somone Can they refuse if a person belief does not line up to them?
