Stop talking like this sugarman.

You know it clearly says that Paul rebaptized them into Jesus then he laid hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost.

Stop changing the words to suit yourself...you continually are trying to force your beliefs into scripture.  I take scripture after scripture as they all line up to ONE salvation.

example:
You being a human don't have to believe that you are human as you are human.
If you only believe in Christ then you can not be part of him as you are just a believer. You need to put on Christ and become a possessor of Christ and be part of His body.
I am no longer a believer----I am a possessor of Christ, a member of His body, the Church!!

This is just some of what you receive at baptism in Jesus name.
Buried with Him and we resurrect in His likeness, and we receive a new name, His name, and then we are joint-heirs with Christ.

I have told you all of this before but since I got angry with you I feel the need to show some charity and attempt once again to help you understand.

No you do not understand to have baptism of the holy spirit you must have the holy spirit.

And I not the one trying to force my beliefs.

You do a good job at that trying to force a literal change of a new man in baptism from The figure of the new man in baptism.

I suggest you stop twisting the bible.

here a quote from one of those sites I mention

(1) I believe that when Jesus breathed upon them, that the Holy Spirit they received was for conversion. They were born again at that moment!

(2) They were at that moment "indwelt" by the Holy Spirit, but not yet "baptized in the Holy Spirit"!

(a) That took place on the day of Pentecost.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

That is in Christ, not a believer in Christ, but a posessor of Christ! Baptism in Jesus name puts you in the body of Christ, you in Him and He in You. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature!

baptism is symoblic a figure not what literal puts you in Christ.

The bottom line is your saying baptism in the holy spirit means that when it starts to indwell you.

while scripture shows different The holy spirit indwells a believer once they believe unto Christ.

Then baptism of the holy spirit is when it comes upon you and water baptism is the figure of the new person you are.

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

baptism is a work unto obeying Christ command after one is save not before.

NO WORKS save none zip zero  after we believe we are made Literal a new creation when we are baptism it is a figure of this new creation.

Something wilby you do not understand Nor do you want to see the Truth.

we are made to do works after we are saved.

You are basing everything on something that is just a figure and that you think it literal saves you.

for baptism of he holy spirit and paul asking did you recieve the holy spirit when you believe? I suggest you read this.

When one believe there are indwell with the holy spirit

I will cut a short line from this person

3. It is important to note that for them to be "believers" and to have been baptized in the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit had to be "residing within" them, yet they had not received the Baptism!

Not totally correct but I do like the statement. The Holy Ghost will draw people to salvation, the waters of everlasting life. Then they get baptized and then they receive the gift of the Holy Ghost from our wanderful heavenly Father.

what he saying The holy spirit have to be indwelling in the believer before they were baptism but indwelling does not mean baptism of the holy spirit.

One can be saved and Have the holy spirit indwell into a believe. This because the baptism of the holy spirit does not happen right away does not mean they are  not being lead by the spirit.

baptism of the holy spirit is not a formula God is not bound by our experience.

my experience is when I felt the holy spirit power that almost knock me over

Feeling His presents is not the same as being filled with His spirit. Get baptized in the name of Jesus and rise out of the water with your hands raised thanking Jesus and you will know the difference between feeling and being filled.

Probably the most famous verse from the NT: John 3:16. No baptism required.

so When Jesus breath on them and said receive the holy ghost they did not have it?

I mean at that point no tongues or nothing when jesus did this
Feeling His presents is not the same as being filled with His spirit. Get baptized in the name of Jesus and rise out of the water with your hands raised thanking Jesus and you will know the difference between feeling and being filled.

wilby only saved person can feel Jesus presents.

I put it simple

when somone believe onto Christ the holy spirit indwells that believer.

second now to water baptism we do this as a figure of us receiving the holy spirit and our salvation.

Then Baptism of the holy spirit is when The spirt comes on us.

The baptism of the holy spirit happens after when one believe and is sealed with the holy spirit.

Baptism of the holy spirit is not geting the holy spirit in the sense of it first indwell in you but in a sense first receiving the power of the holy spirit over you.

I wish you well to but Hope one day you learn that confessing and believe unto Christ is what puts somone in the body and water baptism is the figurative of this.

I have a high priest his name is jesus

And my hope is that those same people you are trying to convince that our salvation depends on us, see the truth, from John 3:

16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

18- He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

21- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Our salvation is a free gift from God, not earned before or after we come to belief.

"If the Son therefore shall make you free,
ye shall be free indeed."
John 8:36
