No, you are still misinterpreting this text.  Christ is speaking to His disciples about the 12 thrones, and not making a statement at all about who will not sit on the thrones.  When you disregard the comma in "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory" you are simply ignoring the sentence structure in the English translation.  That is why I am wondering if English is your first language.

The water is the Word of God, which is used by the Spirit of God to regenerate those to whom God has elected to give the gift of faith.  Believers are born again from above, not through natural elements of the earth.  That is why the Bible says faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Read your Bible daily: www.biblegateway.com (KJV) is excellent Tanakh-NT. Mechom Mamre & JPS are great Tanakh's.

Man made -- NOT scriptural.

His word is the bread of life and also known as meat but not water.

SO many many scriptures on baptism and yet you fight to prove your false beliefs. Very Sad.

Matthew 19
27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye(deciples)which have(already)followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Jesus is telling the twelve what their reward will be then He goes on to say that everyone that follows Him will receive everlasting life.

Peter says we have forsaken all... ---Jesus acknowledges that anyone that has forsaken all ...

And follows Him in the regeneration.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Baptism washes away our sins and then we receive the Holy Ghost.

NOT Scriptural

How To Get Saved per the Bible Scriptures

Salvation: Regeneration--reborn--born again

Here the gospel of salvation
Believe the gospel of salvation
Be Baptized according to the Faith, Christ's doctrine of salvation
Receive the Holy Ghost, taught in the gospel of salvation

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Remember, a believer was always a person that was baptized into Jesus. Man made religions have changed the true meaning of a believer.

ALL Scriptural
Reasoning with you has come to nothing.

Now I pray the Lord shut your mouth, and open your eyes.
No response to this???
Why not.... It is an extreamly valid point!

I have one point to make?
If we trully Love Jesus and we KNOW He is LORD, then way would we NOT want to take HIS wonderful name upon us in Baptism?

"Jesus" is by far the most increadible glorious name that is above ALL names, So why would anyone who LOVES HIM refuse to have Jesus' name called over them in baptism?

It make no sense to tell the lover of your soul that you would do anything in HIS name But Baptism...

For me it is not a case of "You MUST be baptised in Jesus' name"
but rather, GLORY TO GOD! I get to be baptised in that resplendant name of Jesus! What Privilage! What Grace! What amazing adopted Sonship is THAT!?

I know that we all here Love Jesus with all our hearts...So, why don't we all just jump into the water and get baptised into His name as an act of worship and reverance to Jesus?? If for no other reason then that HIS name is WORTHY of all our surender and Praise!

Glory to God in the highest!
Hosanna!

Ripley's,

Although I am not one to "speak for xtianity", I have seen post after post, thread after thread with Wilby and everyone else getting into each others "theroys".

I mentioned this about a month ago on some thread (don't remember which one).

DON"T ANSWER HIS POSTS!!!

That is the best way not to continue the "nonsense".

I understand your point of view that if someone reads his "theroy" they might be misled, but to me, the more and more you go back and forth, the more you put a ? in peoples minds.

I suggest an ALL POINTS BULLETIN.

DO NOT ANSWER WILBY'S POSTS!!

DO NOT REPLY.

IGNORE.

GO ON TO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL.

Sorry, I just had to offer some advice.

Have you read all the pages here? No one is saying that we don't want to be, or haven't been, baptized.

But Wibly demands that without baptism, one is not saved...and beyond that, one must be baptized in name of Jesus alone, or it is incorrect. (No baptism in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, in other words.) In fact, his baptism is magical and even performed on his own newborns to "break the curse".

He used to demand that it was literally the name spelled J-E-S-U-S, until it was pointed out to him that the name He heard while on earth was His Hebrew name: Yeshua. which he stiffneckedly still won't go with. No, his rendition is Yashashuah or something like that.

So, the extremely valid point you are making is not the contention in this thread. Read the whole thing, then make comments. (I realize it will be an exhausting task.)

Thanks SMR, it's good advice. It's just hard for me to see lies and not respond. Ya know?

But it has gone on long enough.

Done.
