Wilby, Stedfast, RayBurghen, regarding your posts #478, #480, #482:

Nope! you don't get what I'm asking here.  You keep presenting texts with dogma but you do not directly answer my questions here.  Please re-read my post #477, and make another attempt.

All you have to do to persuade me, Wilby, is explain exactly how a dead-to-God sinner applies the blood of Christ (which you correctly understand is in heaven) through the ritual of water baptism, and how the natural element of water serves to save.  And to really nail it, answer my post #101 in the What Is The Holy Spirit? thread.

Already answered....and done clearly too...
the Truth is the Truth! And the Kingdom of God has drawn near to you on this... You just choose NOT TO SEE IT...and to reject it...

Because you are afraid of making a change in your life, and more so, the changes that will come your way after you have, obeyed the Apostil's doctrine of salvation (Clearly laid out in ACTS)...

Tell us brother, What big ministry are you affraid to lose if you step off the "Baptist" reservation...?
Baptistic... you never answered my question...

Have you ever spoken in tongues as THE Spirit gave you the utterance?
The natural element of water (here on earth) represents the cleansing of our sins that has ALREADY TAKEN PLACE in heaven. Jesus IS the water of life. We are baptized in Him the moment we say, "I trust in You!" IMMERSED!!

As I have said many times already, if baptism is the key, and not faith by hearing the gospel, then we need to get to nabbing people and baptizing them...forget all that irrelevant "preaching stuff."

Brother Ripley, don't be so dramatic....

We MUST enter, all the way, thru the Door to step into the Kingdom of Heaven!

-Yeshuah is "The door"!

-Believeing the truth of sin ransomed in our place on Calvery is "the Key"!

-Repentance is opening "the door".

-And Baptism in Yeshuah's name is "Adoption" and the act of "walking thru the door".

-The baptism of the Spirit is "Lighting your lamp, so one can see the kingdom of God! and lead orthers to the door too."

Each and EVERYONE of these is done by Faith alone thru grace!

Marvel not, you MUST be born again...

you never answer mine yet steadfast.

Do you speak in tongues as the same way the apostles did when everyone even the lost can understand what your saying?
Steadfast says:

How can you claim that baptism is "A work"?
It was By grace alone that I had the faith to come to repentance!
Which is something I did when I responded to Grace.
It was by Grace alone that I had the faith to come baptism!
Which is something I did when I responded to Grace.
It was by Grace alone that I had the faith to surrender and be filled with the Spirit!
Which is something I did when I responded to Grace.

Indeed, everything is GRACE (G-D's Unmerited Favor).
Without Grace you would not even come to G-D, everything you do
would be works of the flesh. "For they being ignorant of G-D's
righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness,
have not submitted to the righteousness of G-D."
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who
believes. [RO 10:3-10]
V.8 ... "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that
is, the word of faith which we preach)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in
your heart that G-D has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE
SAVED.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
V.13 "For whoever calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved."

  What did Steadfast say?
"It was by Grace alone that I had the faith to come baptism!"

So what is going on here?
Once upon a time there lived a man named Adam who was created
with infinite life. This man defied the will of G-D and died. G-D had
deep compassion for him but gave him instead a finite life with a plan.
Now Adam could pass on to his offspring only this new finite life.
[Folks call this the original sin that every one is born with]

Now G-D is pure Love but knew that everone had to die, for the
wages of sin is death. Because G-D has so much love for the world,
He prepared a plan to circumvent this curse.
He would prepare a human body again with infinite life to dwell in.
Folks called Him EMANNUEL (G-D WITH US).
The next step was to draw the ones He knew and give them the
opportunity to exchange their finite life for an infinite one. Folks
call this GRACE or unmerited favor. There couldn't be any self works
involved as this would lead to vanity.
Now when people believed in Jesus [YHWH-HOSHEA] the HOLY GHOST
Baptized them into the body of Christ, thereby obtaining the infinite
life. The HOLY GHOST then dwells in the believer. and if you walk in
the Light as He is in the Light you have fellowship one with another,
and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin.
The water Baptism is only your Confession of what happened in the
Spirit, [the death, burial and ressurection into your new life.]
When you obtain this new life, folks call this being "Born Again."
You are not condemned if you have absolutely no possibility to be
Baptized. I think of the Thief on the Cross after he confessed to
Jesus... "I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradice."

Ok, I will play your silly game... Frown

YES!!!

As I have said here....

Steadfast Wrote:

Here is one that Brother Frankie took of me and Brother Doug at sunrise, at the wailing wall... (I am the guy on the right)

When I put my hands on the wall! I felt the hairs on my arms go up in a waive from my hands, down my arms, and up to the top of my Head! I immediatly started to speak in Tongues!
And then to sing in tongues...

A Hasedic Jew next to me begain to sing the same song I was singing! He with understanding and me through the Spirit! So, I was singing in the SPIRIT in perfect Hebrew a song that was well known to The Jews in Israel, and knew it NOT...

Doug said he about fell over when the Israeli Jew joined into the song!

GLORY!!!

When I worship in tongues it comes out in some sort of classic/old Hebrew...

In fact, it was mostly because of this that the Jews at the Kotel wanted to get me to wrap my arm in the Mitzvah of Tefillin...

ALSO,
When I first received the Baptism of the Spirit I shouted in Hebrew for over an hour! For I recieved it as I came up out of the waters of baptism in Yeshuah's name, and a visiting Messianic Jew heard it and ran up the stairs to the baptistry "to meet the scholar" just to find a 20 year old boy "with a perfect Hebrew accent"!  He then translated it live...

And frankly, I could care less if you believe it or not... Because it is something sacred and private between me and God...

Tag... Your turn... Sugar...

Steadfast, that's two attempts, you get three, if you would like to try again.  You're wasting time complaining about the question, instead of focusing upon it.  I hope you will try again, and apply more thoughtfulness.
