Howdy all,
I'm new here, hope I post correctly. I dont see a spell check and I sure need one.
At any rate, I have read and have been taught that When God introduced Himself to Moses, He introduced Himself as "I AM That I AM". So...God's name, "YHVH" (pronounced YA-HA-VEH) means "I AM That I AM". "Yeshua" means YAHVEH's Savior...God in the flesh.
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
All three positons are held by the same ONE GOD, YHVH.
Like..
Liam the Son
Liam the Husband
Liam the Dad
All the same guy...Liam.
TA-DA!! Simple.

I have read through more of the posts reflected on this subject and would like to share a little more of what I have been taught.
When Yeshua spoke to Nicodimas about being born again, the King James English translators changed a few words around to supposedly make it easier to read.
I have been taught that Yeshua meant that we can not see the kingdom of heaven unless we are born from above...NOT "born again". We can not see the kingdom of heaven unless we are willing to be placed into flesh bodies and endure this trial we are all enjoying so much. Born from above in water...our mothers water from the womb. Remember there were seven thousand Sons of God that refused to be born in the flesh but left their first habitation and came to earth and took wives and had offspring...thats where the Geber or Giants came from...Goliath was one of a second outbreak of them after the flood of Noah got rid of them.
I was also taught that we confess with our mouths, believe with our hearts and are saved. We are Baptized because Yeshua Himself was Baptized and He told his Apostle to Baptize for the remission of sins. Baptism is symbolic of our death.
Sin requires a death...God told Adam and Eve in the day that they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil they would surely die. He killed animals to cover their nakedness/sin. But before the day was out, they died. Remember that to God one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. No one has lived to be one thousand years of age...so Adam and Eve did die in the day that they sinned.
Yeshua died once for all of us. All we have to do is accept it. Remember the guy on the cross next to Yeshua? Yeshua told him that he would be with Him in Paradise that day. The sinner was on the cross dying next to Yeshua, he was not baptized before he died, yet Yeshua told him he would be in paradise with him.
I believe and have been taught that we should be baptized because Yeshua was baptized and He is our example. But sometimes some people can not be baptized, just like the guy that was next to Yeshua on the cross.
