I always wandered why the Jews were so disliked and I asked God in Prayer one day, "I asked what is this all about it does not seem to make any sence to me".

I was quickly taken to a scripture in a book I really have not spent any time in and I read this one scripture.

Esther 8

17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Who are the people that hid among the Jews and became Jews that day?
Are they influencing the world today and calling themselves Jews?

Revelation 2:9

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

I am probably in the right place to make this enquiry but please, I would like to hear from people with some real knowledge on this subject.

Who would that be? You respect no person's understanding here... didn't Kolenda explain it to you?

Pardon me for my cynicism, but I think it is warranted.
They "fear" the Jews because they see the power of their G-d.

Many people were converting to Judaism before the nations decided to try to "wipe us out".

But of course, G-d won't let that happen (wipe us out that is). Neither then or now.

Don't know much about your "satan" stuff, because it is not the same satan as in the Hebre bible.
First off all, if these babylonians became Jewish, than they might be Jewish till today. For over 2000 years intermarried with other Jews it will be hard to find out who influenced who....
It's partly likely that some of this new converts stayed behind, and not went to Israel afterwards...  Some might have loosen their stenght and seriousness afterwards and left Judaism, married out and became so secular that it's not even posible nowadays that they will call themselves Jews...

Besides that the Taliban and other groups in Afganistan also claimed to be from Judah, and some Japanese groups and other Christians etc. So it's becomming complicated to believe everybody.

Also I agree that your Satan has not that meaning in Hebrew/Egyptian.
And about revelation?
I can imagine that some christians started to call themselves Jews allthough they where not. And started to mix things up in the Churches.
I can Imagine that there where some Jews who lost their right to be called Jews, by Jewish Law.

when I read about satan in The OT i see him no different then in The NT.

Both ot and NT=  destruction.

he trys to get people to curse God and leave him but can only do what God allows him.

also what about the snake? who was trying to get adam adn even to sin against God?  satan?

to me he haves the same agenda in both testaments hence trying to get people to curse and leave God.
Result of search for "satan":

7853 satan saw-tan' a primitive root; to attack, (figuratively) accuse:--(be an) adversary, resist.
7854 satan saw-tawn' from 7853; an opponent; especially (with the article prefixed) Satan, the arch-enemy of good:--adversary, Satan, withstand.

Looks the same to me The enemy of good.

can anyone explain how satan is different in the Ot and Nt by useing scripture alone?

854 satan saw-tawn' from 7853; an opponent; especially (with the article prefixed) Satan, the arch-enemy of good:--adversary, Satan, withstand.

that was from my hebrew lexicon online.

satan gets the same rap in both testaments.

Sugarman,

What does the Hebrew word "hasatan" mean?

Insight from Dennis Prager, columnist, talk-radio show host, university professor, and observant Jew.

Why The Jews? The Reason For Antisemitism

Why have Jews been the object of the most enduring and universal hatred in history? Why is the jewish state the most despised country in the world? Dennis Prager and Joseph Teleushkin, authors of the widely acclaimed The Nine Questions People Ask About Judaism, take on these momentous questions. Why The Jews? discards conventional explainations of antisemitism to argue that its root causes are, paradoxically, the very convictions that have ensured Jewish survival: the Jewish conceptions of God, Law, and Peoplehood. Drawing on extensive historical research, the authors reveal how these distinctive Jewish values have precipitated universal antisemitism by making the Jews, and now the Jewish state into outsiders—challengers—to other people's Gods, laws, or national allegiances.
