The head is Christ himself, not Peter, nor the seat of Peter. We have been given our counsellor, a perfect counsellor - the same that guided Peter, Paul and the other apostles. We have no need of another, a human counselor, from the Vatican.
Besides the whole argument stems from a very questionable interpretation of scripture.
In the end this is a petty squabble about nothing.
CHRIST IS RISEN. and that's all that really matters.
