Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for ALL THINGS UNTO GOD AND THE FATHER IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST;
Ephesians5:20 5:20 giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, to God, even the Father;
Diaglott: Ephesians 5:20 giving thanks at all times on behalf of all, in name THE LORD OF US JESUS Anointed, to THE GOD and FATHER;
It would look like an error was made in the above verse where it says UNTO GOD AND THE FATHER as most people assume when you speak of GOD you mean THE ETERNAL FATHER. If you have the proper identity as to WHO JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD really is and how important he was in CREATING ALL THINGS for HIS FATHER THE ETERNAL GOD the above words make perfect sense as they stand. That is if you believe that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is GOD THE SON CREATOR OF ALL THINGS and SAVIOR OF ALL HE CREATED,WHOSE NAME BEFORE JESUS WAS JEHOVAH. If you can begin to understand who CHRIST actually was and is you will begin to see that most scripture referring to THE LORD, GOD, ALMIGHTY AND CREATIVE FATHER refers to THE SON except when THE ETERNAL GOD THE FATHER is clearly identified. Their is the ETERNAL father of the son of God and there is the father of mankind Jehovah who also became Jesus the man. The distinction over THE SON and THE SONS ETERNAL FATHERS identity is undeniable. Most of the time this can be seen clearly with-in the same verse and can be easily understood as to who is who by the reader. More times than not it is the son speaking of his ETERNAL FATHER that we can see who is who and make a clear distinction between the two. I chose some verses that give example of this as they help you to see clearly the distinction between the two.
