This segment of Colossians below explains the whole picture very clearly. I will only add a few comments to help explain my understanding.
Colossians 1: 12-20
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who(THE GODTHE FATHER) hath DELIVERED US from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of HIS DEAR SON(JEHOVAH or YAHWEH):Mike: DELIVERED US :This was done by THE GOD THE FATHER giving us his Son.
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, THE FIRSTBORN OF EVERY CREATURE: *Mike: I like this picture because it shows the close relationship of the Son to the Father. It also shows the Son was created FIRSTBORN OF EVERY CREATURE and is not THE GOD OF ALL GODS THE ETERNAL FATHER IN WHOM ARE ALL THINGS.
16 For by HIM(The Son Jehovah) were ALL THINGS CREATED, that are IN HEAVEN, and that are IN EARTH, VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE, whether they be THRONES, OR DOMINIONS, OR PRINCIPALITIES, OR POWERS: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, and for him: Mike: Can you see that THE CREATOR FATHER JESUS CHRIST THE SON WHOSE LOGOS NAME WAS JEHOVAH created even the spiritual realm and beings as well as the universe and man?
17 And HE(THE SON JEHOVAH) IS BEFORE(FIRSTBORN OF EVERY CREATURE) ALL THINGS, and BY HIM(JESUS CHRIST THE GODS SON JEHOVAH) ALL THINGS CONSIST.
18 And HE(AGAIN IT IS CLEAR WE ARE SPEAKING OF THE SON JESUS CHRIST BY THE NEXT WORDS OF THIS SENTENCE) is THE HEAD(BRIDEGROOM CHRIST) OF THE BODY, THE CHURCH: who(CHRIST THE LOGOS JEHOVAH) IS THE BEGINNING, THE FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD; that IN ALL THINGS HE(JEHOVAH OUR LORD) might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in HIM(THE LORD JEHOVAH) should ALL FULNESS DWELL;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, BY HIM(CHRIST) TO RECONCILE ALL THINGS UNTO HIMSELF; BY HIM, I SAY, WHETHER THEY BE THINGS IN EARTH, OR THINGS IN HEAVEN.
In time this from above is the outcome of THE SON JEHOVAH’S work:
CAN YOU ALSO SEE HOW THE NAMES OF THE SON: THE SON OF GOD, YAHWEH, JEHOVAH, MESSIAH(CHRIST), YESHUA(JESUS), SAVIOR, ANOINTED, CREATIVE FATHER ALL FIT AND FORM THE IDENTITY OF THE SON OF GOD as the future GOD THE SON?
I purposely interchanged the titles he held so you could get a better idea of his complete role as GODS instrument to create ALL THINGS.
1 Corinthians 15:28 AND WHEN ALL THINGS SHALL BE SUBDUED UNTO HIM, THEN SHALL THE SON ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECT UNTO HIM THAT PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL.
From the book of Revelation if we put Christ in the proper context you will see that the Son is being spoken of just like in Colossians 1: 12-20 we just covered.
