How can two walk unless they are agreed? Where two or more are gathered in His name there will He abide in the midst. The fervent effectual prayer of the righteous in agreement availeth much. Our righteousness is of God that saveth the upright in heart. If one of us put ten thousand to flight, two of us can send legions fleeing.
The greatest time of my life has been when meeting with a faith/prayer
partner. Fellowship and joy was manifest by the presence of the Lord.
Out of the heart the real issues of life were met head on and given over to the wisdom of the Lord. There was agreement in such matters as the evidential proofs found in the scriptures, such as, the reasons for our persecution, the joy set before us and the transitory brevity of life.
Also included were specific prayers for death row prisoners, those that were sick, and those who needed the revelation of the Gospel. It was something I always looked forward too, as though God was giving us a taste of heaven in the here and now.
