I have a simple question that cant be answered with a quote from the new testiment, or the old.

It cant be argued by telling me all people must be saved.

So.

JFJ BREAKS jewish law.

How do they do this?

Jews are strictly forbidden to prosthelitize (bad spelling, I know)..or rather push our religion on others.

It is forbidden and against jewish law.

Period.

So when JFJ goes out and hands out pamphlets, and goes on the street trying to convert people they break Jewish law.

And another thing. I don't see JFJ trying to convert catholics! I dont see them going to Christian neighborhoods and telling them they must believe in the way Jews do.

Why do you seek out jews tro harass? And yes, Jews see you as a harassment!

I also want to make something clear. I believe, with all my heart in the freedoms we are blessed with. I have no problem with the JFJ people. I mean this post to have THE utmost respect, and is written with such. Live your life. Believe in Jesus. G-d bless you.

But you ARE breaking jewish law. Jews do NOT want to be converted. jews believe that the mesiah has not come and its not Jesus.

I end this again with saying I mean this post with all due respect.

HI. There is a difference between Jewish law according to the rabbis and Jewish law according to the torah. The word, Prostilitizing comes from the history of Jewish people trying to covert other pagans to the God of Israel. Our commission as the Chosen People, the People of Priests as the Bible puts it, is to go to all the world and tell the people to worship the God of Israel. This is in the Tenach, Old Testament and the New Testament.

When Jews for Jesus goes out, we will tell anyone who will listen that the Messiah came. We will tell Jews and Gentiles. However, since we are Jewish and upset that no one told us and kept it from us, we esp want to share the truth with our Jewish brethren.

We only share the message. The Bible says, "How will they hear the good news if no one tells them?" Only God draws people to himself. We do not force it on anyone. We are just available to answer questions, study the bible with people and pray with people who's hearts have been drawn to the Messiah Y'shua.

If you follow the Rabbis today, you may be blind to what the Bible really says. Have you read the bible cover to cover yourself?

We also love to share our faith with Catholic people who are interested and all people.

In fact, Jews for Jesus brings in 4 Gentiles to every 1 Gentile to faith in Messiah!

I challenge you to read Isaiah 53, Isaiah 9:6 and 7:14 and tell me if you do not recognize that as being Jesus/Yeshua!

Aren't you a little presumptuous by stating that evangelism cannot be supported from the Old and the New Testament? There are many verses in the Tanakh and the Brit Hadashah that do not suggest it but command it! I’ll give you three from the Tanakh and one from the New Covenant since you claim to be Jewish.

Eze 2:7 NIV  You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.

Eze 3:4 NIV He then said to me: Son of man, go now to the house of Israel and speak my words to them.

Eze 3:18 NIV When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for [Or in also in verses 19 and 20] his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.

Mat 28:19 CJB  Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh,

Also we are not converting Jews but reuniting them with the reality of the G-d of Yisra'el.
The living G-d that you may know.

Christians who do not evangelize experience the desert due to their lack of oil and love in their lamps.

I congratulate you Juhgail for being honest before G-d and us with your views, opinions and expressing gratitude for the freedoms we have in our western societies. The L-rd is big enough to deal and judge our hearts in all truth.

Blessed be the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach in all the world

Psa 31:14 CJB  But I, I trust in you, ADONAI; I say, “You are my God.”
Perhaps the thought:  Truth witheld from others, by a selfish person, dies with that selfish person.  If God resides in your heart, you will proclaim Him in you, and your love for Him.  Like J4J says, don't force, just share (I paraphrase).

To one and all, Shalom in Messiah.  Arley
It is written in both Tenach as in the Christian Testament that the Masshiach will not be the one shouting on the streets....

O.k. Jesus preached, maybe didn't provoketively shouted (although he once was slaying with a rod).....

That Israelites where in Tenach commanded to bring the good news is right.
Now we do it otherwise, because of our Torahs.

If you follow the Messianics today, you may be blind to what the Bible really says. Have we not all read the bible cover to cover?
Correction,

The Hebrew Bible may tell the Jews to spread the word of the G-d of Israel, but nowhere, nowhere , does it say to spread the news of a messiah.

That's the difference.

If YOU studied the Hebrew bible, you would see there is nothing written about a coming of a messiah. It may talk about a descendant of David, but the word messiah IS NOT USED.

Since you warn us to be careful of the "rabbi's writings", I ask you this. Why do you refer to "The messiah'? That is a concept that is ONLY used in the Rabbi's writings.

Sorry, you cannot have it both ways!!!

Who's correcting who, searching? Who is the only salvation, or Yeshua?

Yesha'yahu, as instructed to write down and noted in Yesha'yahu 43, Wrote:

But now thus saith HaShem that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, thou art Mine.
2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3
For I am HaShem thy G-d, The Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour; I have given Egypt as thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4
Since thou art precious in My sight, and honourable, and I have loved thee; therefore will I give men for thee, and peoples for thy life.
5
Fear not, for I am with thee; I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6
I will say to the north: 'Give up,' and to the south: 'Keep not back, bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the end of the earth;
7
Every one that is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yea, I have made him.'

8
The blind people that have eyes shall be brought forth, and the deaf that have ears.
9
All the nations are gathered together, and the peoples are assembled; who among them can declare this, and announce to us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; and let them hear, and say: 'It is truth.'
10
Ye are My witnesses, saith HaShem, and My servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me there was no G-d formed, neither shall any be after Me.
11
I, even I, am HaShem; and beside Me there is no saviour.
12
I have declared, and I have saved, and I have announced, and there was no strange god among you; therefore ye are My witnesses, saith HaShem, and I am G-d.
13
Yea, since the day was I am He, and there is none that can deliver out of My hand; I will work, and who can reverse it?
