Funny but this is the way Israelis say everything is pleasant.  I used to deliver cakes for Nahem bakery, it must be a related word or the same thing.

But anyway, what is totally cool is Nain in the New Testament where Jesus raised a widows child from the dead also probably means pleasantville!

If you go there you will find tombs, I mean an arab kid will probably take you there if your rental car can take the 1,800 foot hill. They call it mini hermon the hill there.  I mean, the place is kind of off the beaten path.

But what is cool also is if you go over this hill through the National forest planeted only 30 years ago is Mount Moreh.  This means teacher.  It was near the summer capitol of Jezebel and Ahab.  But when Elisha was there he was friendly with the king.

And the shunem was there too, like from the story of the nonjewish shunamit whose son was also raised from the dead.

The point of the story? When Jews go from thinking of Jesus as more than just a teacher it turns into pleasantville.

The widow of Nain got her son back and her estate.  It could have gone to an unscrupulous male relative.

I got this from Dr. Fleming. He was there 3 months ago and did a surface survey of Shunem with students.  He had a picture of potery just laying on the ground from Elishas times!  Amazing, many places have not been excavated yet.

Dr. Fleming is kind of an United Methodist version of Indiana Jones with curly red hair and a beard.  I saw him at Ocean Grove about an hour ago and am glad the Lord lead me to go from a dream.
I wonder how many children the      went on to have...

...and how she would have taught her children of the Messiah...
I guess you mean Na'im me'ot???  Means: very pleasent....

Nahum is another source but maybe related indeed.

Nain?? I don't know. have to look it up.
And where is it written in the Christian Testament? And where about is that village? Did the Arabs keep the name intact? at least with most villages they did.

Greetings.
That is cool!
tHANK YOU yEzeriah for straightening me out on the exact spelling.  When the Indiana JOnes guy ran it by me one time I must have misheard it.

He was talking about the Nain widows son raised in Luke chapter 7.
