Try your local synagogue for biblical and modern Hebrew. Good luck.

Hello,
If you are a christian, I suggest going to the local messianic synagogue. There you can learn how to vocalize hebrew through their classes or bar/bat mitzvah. But I noticed that the messianic synagogue, the pronounciation is a bit softer than at a traditional synagogue. It sounded a bit off to me but it may have been at this one messianic place. I don't know. You can also learn at the local reform or reconstructionalist synagogue, but I would talk to someone there first because these classes may only be geared to bar/bat mitzvah children/adults. A third option would be the university and study it as a second language. I know my univesity had this too, but I was warned at even the beginers class is a bit accelerated...
If it is your dream just pursue it. Just be warned that, unless you have a real desire to learn the language, you will only be taught pronounciation not meaning.
Good luck.
