I would like to ask you to pray for another student.
David is a former student who graduated about 5 years ago. He's been serving in Iraq, kicking in the doors of terrorists and being the first one in. While he was in Iraq, he was constantly dehydrated. They have to wear all that gear and body armor even when its over 100 degrees. Now, his kidneys are shutting down. He's down to 20 percent and will start dialysis soon--whenever that demonic agency, the VA gets around to it (those are my terms, not his--he never complains and never even brings up how he's feeling! More impressive, he never blames the US or the VA. He says "it was a fair trade."). He needs a transplant. But more importantly, he needs Yeshua.
Would you please pray for David's health, his transplant, and his salvation. I don't have a lot in common with David except guns and poetry (believe it or not, he writes some good war stuff), and I'm finding it very hard to talk to him about God. Because of his schedule, I haven't even been able to invite him to church. I feel an urgency about this because the feasts of trumpets is coming up, and I always anticipate the rapture on that date. I don't want David left behind, and I don't want David to die without Christ. Please pray as the Spirit leads you.
An update on Josh: he is doing great and seems to be growing into a strong Christian man. He's signed up for a baptism class at the church on his own. Keep praying for his brother, Bryan.
