How is it possible to receive an email hours ago that a response was posted to a thread I posted on, and yet follow that link to it, only to find nothing is posted on the board? This has happened several times. Just wondering.........
One thing I consider unfortunate about the way the board works is that if you select to be notified when someone responds to your post, the program sends the notification immediately, when the person responds, but since this is a moderated board, the post doesn't appear until it is approved.
I see. I have been on few boards over the years, but I've never seen even a moderated board where the posts didn't post within a few minutes, if not immediately. If something was spam, abuse or really objectionable content, they just deleted the post after it posted, and warned and/or banned the poster. There were enough people watching the board to "sound an alarm", LOL, so nothing made it on there very long. Thanks for a reply, though, now it makes sense.
