to the McCain-Palin ticket. Don't like the guy. I've said as much before. But love Palin. I've been reading about her in WND and other places over the last two weeks. I'm not voting for McCain, as such. I'm voting for an eventual President Palin. We've been praying for a miracle. Has God given us a Deborah to step in when no other men were worthy leaders? I going vote on it.
Shalom Rev320,
Welcome to the world of voting for the least objectionable. I am normally a Conservative type voter, but Senator McCain raised my hopes by selecting Governor Palin, also.
Immediately the hostiles started screaming about the qualifications for being President, that she does not have. I had a thought (yes, I did), and that thought, I transmitted to Fox News', Bill Oreilly, and all my e-mail friends and family. The below is a cut and paste from my email:
"Governor Palin has few credentials for President, even slightly less than Senator Barach Obama. There is a great difference between them however. Barach Obama, if elected must be 'near perfect' from day one of taking office, being President.
Governor Palin has the luxury of learning how to be President, through close association with a President, and on-the-job-training. Presuming (hypothetically, of course) that Senator John McCain dies, after only two years as President. Vice President Palin has had two years to prepare. We should not compare an 'Apple/orange' with an 'Orange/Apple.' ...
"
Me speaking again, outside the quote: Heaven forbid that John McCain, if elected, would die in office, but Governor Palin has the best chance of taking the reins should that happen.
I do not envy any one of the candidates, as what I have learned, from study of Prophecy, and thoughts that pop into my head, indicates that who-ever gets that job (from Hell, known as the 'Presidency'), will more than likely be the last President this country will ever elect. I will save any further comment for another thread. All I can or will say now, is keep the watch, and looking up. Right or wrong, that is my opinion.
Enough said. To one and all, Shalom in Messiah. Arley
