Take a look at the Beast

They are scheduled to test this thing Wednesday, 9/10. Does anyone remember when a giant computer was thought to someday be the Beast?
Can anyone say *boom*?

And they said there's only a SMALL CHANCE that it will create a black hole.........that's comforting.........NOT.

I thought it was ingenious, finding out how a particle is constructed by a sort of demolition derby. The concensus among the quantum mechanic guys is that something similiar to the stuff the cop was made of in the
"Terminator" will be the end product. A kind of "liquid mush" of unknown
and possibly unstable properties. Although easier to picture than the vibrating branes in string theory, the results are being closely monitered by the high tech supercomputers that can put the data into understandable models to be analyzed for practical benefit.

Some scientist say, "That for every partical that is discovered, there is one that is unknown."
