Four rememberances strike me on this day:

  1. Julius Felix Czarnecki, my paternal granddad's paternal granddad, died on September 11, 1922 when rocks fell on him while he was working in a Sugar Notch mine.
  2. On September 11, 2001, Julius Felix Czarnecki had been dead for 79 years and my maternal stepgranddad turned 75.
  3. On the 79th rememberance of Julius Felix's death, about 3,000 people were murdered by Islam; and my eyes opened to what Islam and the world was, because I'd lived in a more or less complacement existence when it came to what the world and the grander scheme of things was like before September 11th.
  4. September 11, 2002, was the 80th rememberance of Julius Felix's death, the 76th birthday of my paternal stepgranddad, and the first Patriot Day.

They whom remember their History, make far fewer errors in their future.

(This has to be one of the shortest post's I have ever made.  Hmmmm!

In Messiah, Shalom, and keep your eye on the sky, as redemption draws nigh.

I've always wondered, speaking of repeats and rememberances, if Julius' death foreshadowed 9/11. Read the cause of his death and add his given-age digits together.

Shalom Goy,

Julius' death could only be a harbinger if God decided to make that.  Since you have to wonder, probably not.  The Feast's of God, now there is a bunch of harbinger of things to come.  The crucifiction and reserection of Messiah, now there is a really massive harbinger of things to come, as rehearsed in the Feast's of God.  That is not to say that 9-11 is not a family "Ides of March," that needs to be considered a day of happening's.

In Messiah, Shalom.  Arley

October is the month for remembrances for me:
My father was born Oct 4; died Oct 13
My grandfather died Oct 29
I was married Oct 29 (I didn't realize it was the same date until just now when I looked this stuff up)
One of my best Jewish believer friends was born October 9, the same date that I became a believer
My father-in-law was born October 10, and thank God, is still alive so far.

Amazing, huh?
