Four rememberances strike me on this day:
- Julius Felix Czarnecki, my paternal granddad's paternal granddad, died on September 11, 1922 when rocks fell on him while he was working in a Sugar Notch mine.
- On September 11, 2001, Julius Felix Czarnecki had been dead for 79 years and my maternal stepgranddad turned 75.
- On the 79th rememberance of Julius Felix's death, about 3,000 people were murdered by Islam; and my eyes opened to what Islam and the world was, because I'd lived in a more or less complacement existence when it came to what the world and the grander scheme of things was like before September 11th.
- September 11, 2002, was the 80th rememberance of Julius Felix's death, the 76th birthday of my paternal stepgranddad, and the first Patriot Day.
