Prowler could just be angry that Google waited until they got sued to be fair to the pro-life and pro-abortion movements.

I'm not pro abortion, but as a private company I think Google
should be able to choose which advertisers they wish to
accept. No one should be able to force them to accept certain
advertisers, and people who are not happy with their ads
should use a source other than Google.
Unfortunately, that's not how our world operates now. Everything is cool if you are "PC" but if you're not, you have to stand up for your rights. It's not enough to just go to some other source for business, etc. I know you know this, but I wish it were not so also.

no I am pro life...

My understanding from the information on this thread is that google will now permit pro-life advertisements... now my push away from google is the fact that they resisted pro-life advertisements in the first place!

From what I read here google was forced to show pro-life advertisements and this being the case why should I support google when I now know their policy and position?

I don't think this applies to a 'search engine' business simply because it claims to represent the internet community. Also pro-life is not violent and does not break international laws but in fact wants to protect the weakest party in the dispute (the child).

I recall a song which had these words... "the UN debates disarmament but kills children before they are born". Our world lives in hypocrisy.

The Christian faith in its core stands up for the weak and those without a voice!

All things are possible to those who believe.
I have a feeling that google will be replaced by a government controlled search engine. They can not have this power in their hands.

Question: If I am a government can I request for all my .gov sites not to be listed in google?

Considering the strong anti abortion numbers which would have to be atleast 25% world wide... this would severely hinder google as a true search engine.

Google must be independent to survive and service the world fairly.

Thank you for the clarification. Smile
