Hi there!
I just wanted to say that its great the missionaries are out there. When all the arguing is going on and people are beating heads as much as swords... even swords ten times as much as heads... its great to know that the missionaries are out there carrying on the Will of God at the peril of their lives.
A standing ovation. Truly, the praise goes to Jesus and when the applause is done, it is He that will be standing there to address us all. Will I be close to the front? I have accepted a humble burden, that is work a missionary does but not missionary work in an official sense, but I know there are far greater burdens out there being born.
Let's keep them in our prayers and in our thoughts and on our walks with the Lord, let's pull the Lord aside to see them; let's grant Jesus time to work through us through the missionaries. Let's dream the missionary dream, the same dream Jesus is at the center of, until we are all in each other lives like only heaven knows how!
I have missionary families posted on my wall. I pray for them from time to time. Recently, it occured to me with interest that to think on the missionary families actually gives me greater satisfaction than the thought of planning online games with thousands of people... there's something mysterious about that!
The Lord knows you have cared! The Lord knows you have prayed! But let's catch the enthusiasm here while it is here. Who knows how far we will be swept along!
